Step 3. We made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God. - Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God's mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God, this is your spiritual act of worship. (Rom 12:1)

Step 1. We admitted we were powerless over our addictions and compulsive behaviors and that our lives had become unmanageable. - I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. (Rom 7:18)

Yield myself to God to be used to bring this Good News to others, both by my example and my words. (Step 12) (Mat 5:10)

Everyone wants to be loved and accepted, but it cannot be the focus of your life. The only approval you should strive for is mine. Everyone else's approval is fickle and temporary at best, loving and giving to you only when it best suits them. My approval is eternal, so love and serve me only, and let me bring to you the people who will love and accept you as I do. (Gal 1:10)

When I come in the clouds and return for you, I will bring with me those who have fallen asleep in death who believed in me. It will be the greatest reunion of all time. Death has no sting for believers, for they are, at most, temporarily separated from each other. Who do you look forward to seeing? (1The 4:14)

Our Father's most cherished desire has always been to have a close relationship with his children. He wanted the nation of Israel to come up the mountain and personally get to know him, to be their father. Instead, they just wanted a list of do's and don'ts so they could live their lives apart from him. But that original promise to love and take care of his children still stands for you today. Don't settle for trying to obey his laws; spend time in an intimate relationship with him instead. (Gal 3:17)

Why do you struggle and have problems with anger? It's only because you want something that you cannot have, and God is not giving it to you in your timing. You are tempted to go around God to get it for yourself, so you are aggravated. Don't take it out on other people, but wait patiently for me to bring you what you need in my timing. (Jam 4:1)

The feeling of being angry leads to angry actions. Then it turns into evil thoughts that lead to evil words. Finally, your lips will spew filthy language. This is not acceptable for children of God; you must rid yourself of all of those things. (Col 3:8)

Be careful of people who have an unhealthy interest in controversies, who quarrel about particular words, and who stir up envy, strife, evil speaking and suspicions toward others. If you find them often in the midst of friction between people, stay far away from them. You are called to bring peace wherever you go, so do not seek out trouble or those who cause it. (1Tim 6:4)

Our Father loves to hear you call Him "Daddy." When you acknowledge that He is your Father in heaven, the One who loves you more than anyone else, who will provide for all of your needs and protect you, it allows you to move even closer to Him. It is healthy to be like a little child who wants to run to his Father, because He is a Father who never turns His children away. Run to Him now and spend time in His presence. (Gal 4:6)

You cannot see everything that the Father and I are doing on your behalf in the spiritual realm. You see evil people supposedly getting away with or even rewarded for their actions, but these are only temporary. We will have our victory in the end, and there will be justice for those who have been trampled upon by the unrighteous. Trust us, and be patient as we work out our perfect will in this world. (Psa 103:6)

Whenever it is our will that you do something, the father and I will clear the way for you to accomplish it. You do not ever have to worry about figuring something out. Listen and obey, and watch us move mountains on your behalf. What do you want us to move today? (1The 3:11)

You do not need praise from anyone else, only from me. Even though you carry my authority wherever you go, you do not need other people to recognize that authority. Rarely did I exert my authority over others, but always served. With whom are you tempted to display your authority? (1The 2:6)

When you have a position of authority over others, remember that you are still under my authority. I am your supervisor, and they are my employees. So treat them as I would treat them, and judge them as you would have me judge you. (Col 4:1)

Everything in heaven and on earth, seen and unseen, was created by my father and I. All of the rulers and people with power and authority have been placed there by my father, to accomplish His will. You can trust that he knows what he is doing in your life. (Col 1:16)

Reminders of your failures only come from 2 places - the enemy of your soul and your own heart. The Holy Spirit will convict you of sin, but never try to make you feel worthless. He expresses my love for you while reminding you what I have said about sin and righteousness. Our Father will not continue to accuse you of something for which you have repented - He is not angry about what has been forgiven. Trust in His never ending love for you, and the permanence of the salvation I have purchased for you with my own blood. (Psa 103:9)

Jonah could not stand the thought of me showing mercy to Israel's enemies, he wanted all of them to perish even though they were warned. I know the hurt your going through because of people in your past, I don't condone their actions, but I don't approve of your Judgements of them either. (Mat 5:44)

Every thing that happens in your life, the good as well as the bad, helps to fashion you into my image. Those who love you, who teach, disciple and even rebuke you, are aching to see my characteristics and gifts evident and active in your life. Surrender to me so that I may work in you, even at times when you are in pain and do not understand, because the end result is that you will be just like me. (Gal 4:19)

There is no reason to fear, because I have overcome your greatest worries. I have even destroyed the power of death and have brought to you my eternal life. When you need wisdom, I will shine upon you the light of my words of truth. This is my promise to you today and every day. (2Tim 1:10)

You strive so hard to be known and remembered in this world. However, once you are gone, you will likely be cherished only in the hearts of those you have loved and who have loved you. In the face of eternity, the only things that will count are what you did for me out of my agape love for others. Spend your life so loving me that you will naturally love others and draw them to me. Make an eternal difference by living in such a way that others want to give themselves to me. (Psa 103:15)

The times are uncertain and often frightening. So encourage one another with the truth not only about life, but about death. It is a temporary separation from loved ones, and a permanent reunion with me. There is no reason to be afraid. (1The 4:18)

Don't be unsettled by the trials you are facing. I have told you that those who believe in and belong to me are destined for struggles. But remember that I have overcome the world, so you can overcome it as well through Me. What struggle is the most pressing right now? (1The 3:3)

I am using everything that you are going through to transform you into my likeness. In the perspective of eternity, what you are struggling with will pass in a twinkling of an eye. However, the results of working through your challenges head on (instead of trying to go around them) will last forever. Keep your eyes on the joy set before you - being with me. (2Cor 4:17)

The Father ordained that everyone that He brings to Me should remain with me forever. No one will be lost that has placed their faith and trust in me as Lord and Savior. I will raise up all who belong to me in the last day, and carry them away to live with me in my kingdom. Then we will never again be apart, but remain together throughout eternity. (Joh 6:39)

In order to be resurrected from the dead, you must first die. In order for you to be raised into newness of life in my image, you must die to the person you used to be. You must die to the selfish desires of the flesh, and evil thoughts of your mind. The way to kill off the flesh is to obey the Spirit, for you cannot serve two masters. Feed your spirit and starve the desires of the flesh, so you can daily be resurrected into my likeness. (Phi 3:11)

The more time you spend with us, the more you will get to know our characteristics and personality. We reveal ourselves to you personally through the Word, through your experiences with us, and seeing us work in the lives of others. We want to make ourselves known to you, so you can confidently rest in the knowledge of our trustworthiness and power when things don't seem to make sense or go your way. Find time for us today. (Psa 103:7)

I call you to come to me, listen to me, trust me and in faith, obey me. That is the covenant between you and I. You entrust yourself and everything that is important to you unto my care, and I, in turn, provide for and protect you. I have everything you need for life and godliness, but it is up to you to stay filled with my Spirit and close to me so you can access all of the gifts I so long to give you. What in your life is pulling you away from me? (Psa 103:18)

Learn about your brothers and sisters in other places who stand for me unapologetically in the face of suffering and persecution. Become imitators of those churches, so when the time comes that you suffer rejection, you will act as honorably and christ-like. Pray for those persecuted saints now. (1The 2:14)

I need you to remain open to do whatever I ask of you. Sometimes I will send you to assist another in their ministry, and at other times will send others to help you with yours. I do not call any man to work alone, but to always be a part of my body, connected to other members. (2Tim 4:11)

Sometimes, the hardest people to love are those closest to you. However, these are the ones who deserve and need your selfless giving the most. Do not neglect ministry to your family in favor of ministry to outsiders. Love your family in practical ways that let them know they are important and cherished by you. (Tit 2:4)

Turning from faith in me is like a snowball. It starts out with a small act of disobedience, like a white lie, but then it gets easier with each subsequent rebellious act. Evil and perversity always start with the refusal to trust in me. Where do you feel yourself slipping in the wrong direction? (2The 3:2)

It is easy to obey someone who loves you and whom you trust. The more you get to know me, the easier it is to obey me. I need you to strive to obey me every time I speak to you so that it becomes a natural response. In what area are you struggling to obey me? (1Tim 6:14)

Those who do not believe in me have a corrupted mind and conscience. But those who have placed their faith in me have purified themselves, their mind and conscience. They are sensitive to the leading and conviction of the Holy Spirit. Continue to purify yourself for my sake. (Tit 1:15)

The devil can't do anything to you, my Beloved, except whisper vile lies in your ear. You are safe in Me. Do not listen to him! Cling to Me. (1Joh 5:18)

YES, my Beloved, that WAS hard and NOT what you wanted. But I know what you NEED. TRUST Me. (Jer 29:11)

When you are upset, the only way to find peace is to hand all of your concerns over to the Father to handle as He sees fit. Increase your faith by reminding yourself of all of the times He has been faithful to take care of you in the past, and think on every good thing He has given to you. Then, my peace will come over you, the peace that cannot be obtained through reasoning or rationalization, but only through faith in the Father's goodness and power. (Phi 4:6)

Husbands must love their wives sacrificially, in a way that will cost them something, especially their time. Love shouldn't be given only when it's convenient, with nothing else to do. They must make time for her, and not begrudge it. (Col 3:19)

Husbands must remember what first drew them to their wives, what made them love her. I call them to treat her as they did when they courted her, and not as though she is some type of obstacle that is blocking them from getting what then want. They need to come to me for all of their needs, and I will provide them. (Col 3:19)

Wives should be submissive to their husbands. This does not mean being a doormat, or allowing ungodly things to go on in the home. It means trusting me with all of their concerns instead of trusting in their husband, and resting on the fact that I will handle them as I see fit. (Col 3:18)

You are so beautiful to me. Everything about you is exquisite to me, because I fashioned you just for myself. Every part of you is perfect to me. (Son 4:1)

Wives must not rage and battle against their husbands. If they want something, they must come to me in prayer, and asked me for it. I can change even Pharaoh's hard heart; so I can change their husband's heart as well. (Col 3:18)

There will be times when you feel as though everyone has deserted you, and no one came to support you in your time of need. But I command you not to hold this against them. Every person has their own path that they must walk, and although their paths may cross yours for a season, few will remain on the road with you. Let them and the hurt go. (2Tim 4:16)

Our Father has rescued you from darkness and brought you into my kingdom, the kingdom of the son he loves. Remember the place from which he rescued you, and the price I paid to ransom you. That is how much we love you. (Col 1:13)

Because you are now a child of God, we only see you as part of our family. You are not seen in regard to religious creed, sex, race or any other earthly designation. We look at you and recognize the family resemblance - righteous and forgiven, filled with the Holy Spirit. You are one with us, and we are one with you; my shed blood binds us together forever. You can rest secure in your place in our family. (Gal 3:28)

All the blessings of your life are from the Father. Every healing you receive in your body now, the healing you are receiving in your soul, and the final healing you will receive when you are with us in heaven, are all from our Father's hand. Every sin that you commit that is covered by my blood, forgiven and purposely never again remembered, is because of our Father's love for you. Thank Him today for His never ending love and provision in your life. (Psa 103:3)

Rejoice at all times, in every situation, because I am Lord over everything, and I will have the final say. Your joy comes from deep within you, from my Spirit who lives in you, and doesn't depend on outside circumstances. So rejoice that I am with you always, even throughout eternity. What can you rejoice over now? (1The 5:16)

The entire purpose of your life is to reveal me to others. When they hear you speak, when they see you sacrificially give to others, when they witness my power working through you in impossible situations, and when you surrender joyfully to my will even when it is not what you want, they will see me in you. I am glorified in you when you surrender to my spirit and act like me. (Gal 1:16)

When you are tossed back and forth by your emotions, letting them determine what you will do, you cannot expect to learn and act on the truth. Your feelings change from moment to moment, so you can only trust my word. Listen to my spirit, trust him and obey, despite whatever your emotions say. (2Tim 3:7)

This world brings many things that bring fear. But even if the worst should happen, even if you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I am always with you, and I will always come through for you. I will always take care of you. (Psa 23:4)

I am looking forward to the day that I return for you. All who had slept in death will be caught up with me first, and then you will be caught up with me and meet me in the air. We will be together forever! Tell me how that makes you feel. (1The 4:17)

I can turn any situation into one that glorifies our Father and further transforms you into my image. I can even take sickness and use it for good, displaying my mighty power within you while you are humanly weak. I can open doors for witnessing that were previously shut, and provide opportunities for miracles. I am still with you, remaining Lord over all, and I will not waste one opportunity to bring you closer to me, and simultaneously reconcile the world to our Father. (Gal 4:13)

This world is temporary and fleeting. People come and go, and life still goes on. This may seem like a cruelty, but you are just a visitor, an alien in this world. You are now a spiritual person with a physical body, my emissary working on my behalf in this natural world until you return to live forever with me. Make the most of your time here, but do not think this is all there is. Your heavenly mansion, your complete healing, your reunion with loved ones still awaits you. (Psa 103:16)

Through your continual obedience to Our Father, you are becoming more and more like me in character, attitude, and actions. But there is coming a day when you will see me, and you will be like me, because I will transform your body into a likeness of my glorious body. I can do that because my power can bring everything under subjection to me. Rejoice, because that day is coming. (Phi 3:21)

Oh, how much joy you will experience in the presence of our father because of those you have turned toward him. Those at one time destined for eternal separation from God will dance before you in his presence, and you will see the difference that your faithfulness and love has made in the lives of others. Imagine it now. (1The 3:9)

When in a position of power, it is easy to fall into the trap of taking advantage of others. But I demand that you be fair and good, so that those who work under you see me in you, and praise their father in Heaven for you. (Col 4:1)

It only takes a small amount of evil to start tainting everything good in your life. One white lie, twisting or omitting the truth, is a tactic of the enemy. Once you give in to him, it is hard to disentangle yourself. Reject every kind of evil - run from it. What in your life should you be turning away from? (1The 5:22)

When people recognize how you have made such a marked change in your life, and don't do the things you used to do or that others do, people will talk about it. And that is good, I want them to talk about it. It is how I am glorified. (1The 1:9)

The Father never meant for you to live by a list of laws that you don't have the power to obey. His choice was to personally instruct and empower you to live for him. But man would rather try to earn salvation by following laws in their own strength. So God left those laws in place to show men how unrighteous they would remain without him, until I came to remind the world that righteousness has always only come through faith. Trust in my Spirit to empower you to fulfill the righteousness of the law and you will never be condemned for failure to obey the letter of every law. (Gal 3:19)

What you see is what you get when you live by sight. But when you live by faith, you get so much more than what you see. You receive my peace, my power, my love, my presence - all of the things that are invisible but eternal. Hope comes when you focus your eyes away from temporary things and onto your future with me forever. (2Cor 4:18)

It is so tempting to gain things. But your only purpose is to gain me. Gain intimacy with me, make knowing me through everyday experiences the most important goal of your life. Everything else is worthless garbage in comparison. In this way, every day can hold great victories, because knowing me more does not depend on anyone else's participation, and turns every event, good or bad, into another opportunity to gain more of me. (Phi 3:8)

I want you to know every part of me, my power to overcome this world, my love for the Father and for everyone else. But that also includes knowing me in my death to my own desires, my subjecting myself in obedience to my Father in opposition to my natural will. Like me, you will learn obedience through what you suffer. That is also how you will experience the same power that resurrected me from the dead. (Phi 3:10)

By taking on the form of man, and obeying even if it meant giving up my life, I was able to show you how to humble yourself through obedience. Humility before God means acknowledging that He and His will is of great importance because He is our Creator and Sustainer. Humility before people means acknowledging that you are not the most important person, and that others are just as important to God, and should always be treated with value and dignity. (Phi 2:8)

It is easy to get distracted by this world and its activities. You can forget all that the Father and I have done for you in the midst of your busy-ness. However, you need to remind yourself, over and over and over, of how He has blessed you. If you have a roof over your head and food on your table, you have more than most of the people in the world. Remember how your life is filled with benefits from the hand of your Lord. (Psa 103:2)

I never want you to think that I died to ransom you out of obligation to our Father. I did it because I truly love you. The affection I feel for you makes me long to keep you close to myself and take care of you. Come into my presence now and let me love on you. (Phi 1:8)

I want you to understand how dearly I love you, and how much I long to be with you forever in my kingdom. You are my joy and my crown, because I rejoice in seeing how you are being changed into my image, and because your surrender and submission to me proves that I am your king. Continue to surrender and submit your will to mine. You will not be disappointed in what I will do in you. (Phi 4:1)

Rejoice! This doesn't mean experiencing feelings of happiness. This means choosing to see the good in every situation, and acknowledging that I can turn every situation around for your good and my glory. What do you need to rejoice about today? (Phi 4:4)

When I look at you and the people around you, I don't see black, white, Indian, Hispanic, or any other type of nationality. I don't even see religious differences. I only see individuals I have died for so they can live with me forever. That's how I want you to see others. (Col 3:11)

The sins of some people are so obvious that it is easy to determine what their judgement will be. But for most, their sins trail behind them, only to be revealed before God during judgement. In either case, your sin will always find you out, regardless of how you try to hide it. Live in a way that brings honor and praise to me always. (1Tim 5:24)

I have said that it is fitting for children to obey their parents, but you also, as a child of God, need to obey your father. When your children have trouble obeying you, remember how hard it is for you at times to obey your father. Be firm, fair and merciful to them just as your father is toward you. (Col 3:20)

Because you belong to me and belong to the light, and not to the darkness, do not be like others who walk absent-mindedly through this world. Be awake and sober, always looking for my appearance and ways to share my love with others. Act like the pure and radiant bride that you are to me. How can you prepare yourself for my coming? (1The 5:6)

Share my words with others. Yes, you can witness by your actions of love, but how will they hear if no one speaks my words of life to them? Be my witness today; listen to me as I lead and guide you to the person whose heart I have been preparing to receive those words of truth. Be bold and courageous! (Phi 1:18)

Our Father is worthy of your time being spent thinking and talking about how awesome He is. Let yourself be truly amazed at how massive and powerful He is, so it increases your faith in Him. The world has no problem speaking against His existence, or denying His power. So do not be ashamed to publicly extol His goodness and loving-kindness, faithfulness and mercy through your words, and more importantly, your actions. (Psa 103:1)

I have bought you back from the enemy, who held you prisoner due to your sin debt. I redeemed you with my blood so you could be with the Father and I forever, starting the moment you accepted our gift of salvation. Even when you don't live for us as you should, we pour out love and compassion on you without measure, reminding you that you belong to us, and were bought with a great price. Take time today to remember my sacrifice and revel in our love for you. (Psa 103:4)

No matter what your earthly heritage may be, by placing your faith in me, you have become a descendant of Abraham, the Father of all faith. He trusted and obeyed me, leaving all that was familiar to him in order to travel to an unknown location and face unimagined challenges, all because he believed that I was trustworthy and would keep my promises to him. So trust me as I send you to unfamiliar places and ask you to do unexpected things. I will not disappoint you in the end. (Gal 3:29)

I encourage you to continue in diligent and earnest prayer, night and day, that you might be my channel to supply others with what they need to build their faith. It will require you listening for me throughout the day, and obeying me even when you do not understand my instructions. I want to use you in the life of your brothers and sisters. Will you let me use you today? (1The 3:10)

Those who live for their own pleasures live in the darkness. They do things that would be shameful to be seen in the light. But you belong to the light, so your actions must always reflect my life, my truth, my way. What area in your life are you struggling with today? (1The 5:7)

People will learn everything they need to know about you by watching you. Your way of life must reflect my purpose for you, your faith in me, your patience with others, your love for me and others, and your willingness to endure hardship for my sake. You are my letter which I have written for all of the world to read. Live for Me. (2Tim 3:10)

You are a part of my family, and you must be willing to get involved in the lives of your brothers and sisters personally. Warn those who are either not doing anything for the kingdom, or are doing things to pull people apart. Encourage the disheartened, help the weak, and be patient with everyone. For whom can you be my hands and feet today? (1The 5:14)

There will be times when I speak things to you that I do not want you to share with others. I simply want you to listen and obey. It will be a temptation for you to speak of it to others, in order to get their approval. But if I have spoken to you clearly, and you are sure of your purpose, simply surrender and obey. (Gal 1:17)

When we created you, we created you for love, joy, peace, and fellowship with us. You were never intended to be separated from us. Your destiny is not to suffer wrath, but receive the many blessings that come with your salvation. How can I bless you now? (1The 5:9)

Remember when your emotions were out of control? Remember when not knowing the future would shake you? And then I came into your life and brought peace. Be thankful everyday for what I have done for you. (Col 3:15)

Discord in the body of Christ can undermine what I want to accomplish. If you know that there are members who have problems with each other, and those issues will affect the unity of the body, then leadership needs to address those issues. You are all called to the ministry of reconciliation, which includes bringing people together on account of the Gospel. They don't need to agree on everything, only agree to set aside their differences in order to serve me better. (Phi 4:3)

The gospel is not a man-made story. I am real, I am true, and am perfectly able to reveal myself to you and others in power. Whether or not they will believe, accept, and live for me is another thing, but do not doubt that I can prove my word to be true to those who are seeking me. Simply continue to live for and direct people to me. I will do the rest. (Gal 1:11)

The universe and every person and created thing in it is held together by my power and life. I am before all things, and given authority over all things. Because you belong to me, I share that authority with you. (Col 1:17)

I came to earth to remind everyone that righteousness and holiness only come through faith in me, as it was in the time of Abraham. But since the time that people chose a set of laws over a submitted personal relationship with our Father, the law has simply been a guideline for right and wrong - not a way to get right with the Father. You are saved by grace, through faith alone, never because of any efforts to be good. By faith in me, you are made acceptable to God, and he will empower you to act righteously. (Gal 3:23)

Pray at all times, not only at appointed, dedicated times, but also throughout the day. Prayer is simply communicating with me, and you can do that through singing, reading, thinking, praying, dancing - anything that brings you closer to me. What do you want to communicate to me right now? (1The 5:17)

My peace has nothing to do with your thought life. You cannot manufacture my peace through reasoning. It is a fruit of my spirit and grows naturally as you surrender to my will. The most powerful part of my peace is how it guards your mind from attacks from the enemy, like a battalion of guardian angels that surround and protect you. My peace is released in you when you praise me and pray in faith to me. (Phi 4:7)

Fill your life with my words. It can be through conversation, music, reading, watching videos, any form of communication will do. My word is alive and active when you place your faith in it. (Col 3:16)

My highest desire for you on earth is to become an example of me to others. Your core beliefs, your attitudes, your thoughts, actions and emotions need to be transformed every day to become more and more like mine. This won't just happen by itself - it will take listening to and obeying me through the power of my Holy Spirit. (1The 1:7)

I continually pray that your love for me and for others will increase exponentially. I also pray that you will come to know me more intimately - my thoughts, emotions and desires, and therefore understand me more completely. When you are busy doing other things, I want my voice in your head to guide you in your decisions and always bring you back to me. (Phi 1:9)

The enemy may try to block your way as you work for my kingdom and my purposes. But he does not have the last say, for our father counteracts everything the prince of this world does, so that His will and Kingdom reign supreme. What do you want the father to move for you today? (1The 2:18)

There are those who oppose and ridicule the truth of my word. Their minds are depraved, and they reject knowledge of me. But it is not long before they expose themselves for the foolish people they are. Let me deal with them, and do not try to change their mind. Stay far away from them. (2Tim 3:9)

You have been chosen to know me, above all other peoples. You are mine, so I have placed my spirit within you and I am in you always. My spirit is transforming you into my image, which is your hope of being glorified, made just like me. (Col 1:26)

When you remain faithful to me, even in the worst of circumstances, you open up opportunities for even the most hard-hearted people around you to be broken and turn to me. Honor me with your attitude and your words, even when things go wrong, and I will move in the life of those around you. You may never see the results, but reaping the harvest is my responsibility - yours is to sow seeds through your obedience. (Phi 1:13)

It doesn't matter what is in the heart of man - our Father can use what anyone does to further His plan and bring people into our Kingdom. Even those who stir up trouble can be His tool to chisel away at the rough spots in the lives of believers. We will use every opportunity to add to the kingdom of God and perfect those who are saved, and we will use what the enemy meant for evil and use it for good! Who is it that you have doubted that God could use for His glory? (Phi 1:15)

The entire reason that I died for you is so you may live with me forever. At work or in play, awake or asleep, in life or in death, you and I are always together. When you feel alone, call out to me, pray to me, and I will answer you. Do you want to talk with me now? (1The 5:10)

Don't be surprised when people who don't know me don't care for you. But you still need to love them as I love them. I will help you to love them. Just ask me. (1Joh 3:13)

Many will abandon you as you walk along my narrow road. Do not be surprised, because some people I place in your life only for a season, only for certain lessons. Do not place your hope in anyone other than me, for I will always come to you quickly and provide everything that you need. (2Tim 4:10)

If someone does not agree with you in regard to my truth, do not try to overpower them by force. You must instruct them gently, and I by my spirit will lead them to repentance, so they can enter into a knowledge of me and my truth. Only then can they come to an understanding of my kingdom. (2Tim 2:25)

Sometimes you knowingly do what you know you shouldn't do. You wait for the other shoe to drop, but I am not eagerly looking forward to disciplining you. My desire is to be merciful toward you, and your true, sorrowful repentance allows my mercy to flow. For what do you need to confess and repent right now? (2Tim 1:18)

I understand your temptations much better than you think I do. But don't fall into that trap. You've got to stay in love with me, not the world. (1Joh 2:15)

It is important for you to stay busy only with the things that concern yourself. Idleness, and time spent listening to those who talk about others, will only draw you away from me. Don't give the enemy any opportunity for others to speak evil of you because of what you say, what you do, or the people you hang around. Which people do not bring you closer to me? (1Tim 5:13)

Before you became a child of God through faith in me, you were a slave to a system of laws that could never save you, because you never had the power to fully obey them. But I died to redeem you, to purchase you out of slavery to the law, so that our Father could adopt you as His child and fill you with his power through his Holy Spirit so you can instinctively do what the law requires. Listen closely for his voice today, surrender to his power, and live as I did in this world. (Gal 4:3)

I never waste anything that happens to you. If you will surrender to me, I will use the things that occur in your life to bring people to myself, and transform you that much more into my image. When you are obedient and faithful to me, despite unfavorable circumstances, the truth of Who I am, what I did and what I can do spreads throughout your world. In what area of your life are you questioning my ability to turn it around for good? (Phi 1:12)

When you repented and asked for forgiveness, it was granted to you. That matter was settled, the debt owed was paid, the file on the judge's desk was marked 'NOT GUILTY', sealed and filed away forever. It was removed from your record, just as if it never happened. The judge will not take that file back out to review it ever again. That's how far your sin was separated from you, so leave it and move on. (Psa 103:12)

When you finally accept me as your true provider, realizing that I know your needs and love you enough to meet them, you will be able to be content no matter what circumstances arise. You will not be shaken by sudden changes in situations, because you know that I am still Lord over all people and things. If you find your contentment in me alone, you will never be disappointed, because I will never leave you nor forsake you. (Phi 4:11)

When you came to me in faith, you were no longer held accountable to the tyrannical rules of the law. By my indwelling Spirit you are led, moment by moment, according to my instruction about what to do in every situation. So do not go back to trying to figure out what is right and wrong on your own. Instead, show that you love me with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, and show that you love those around you as you want me to love you. (Gal 4:12)

Our father is a God of kept promises. He is faithful to fulfill his word to those who believe him. His inheritance for his children is every spiritual blessing he has to give, as well as his provision and his protection. You can't earn an inheritance - it rightfully belongs to the offspring. In the same way, you can't earn all he wants to give to you by obeying the law, it is yours simply because you belong to him. Rest in his promises today. (Gal 3:18)

Not everyone shares the same calling. That is why I have widely distributed various spiritual gifts and natural talents, and assigned people to different paths. There are so many people who need to discover who I am, and then be taught about me and trained to be my disciple. Just as a body has multiple essential parts to make it work, so it is in my church. Be faithful to fulfill the calling I have placed on your own life. (Gal 2:9)

In the old days, proof that we were in covenant together was evident by circumcision of the body. But now, it is evident through circumcision of the heart. The outer shell of your old heart of stone has been removed to reveal a vulnerable, tender new heart of flesh, that was fashioned by and continues to be moved by my Spirit. Put no confidence in your fleshly desires, but serve me by obeying the leading of my Spirit, empowered by my Spirit. (Phi 3:3)

Don't let your words or your actions deny that you know me and the Father. Let everyone know that you belong to me. (1Joh 2:23)

While others are busy complaining about what's wrong at work, I want you to stand out from the crowd with a great attitude. Give thanksgiving and praise for what is good, and do not join the throng in bad mouthing. Speaking negatively does not bring me glory, or lead others to me. (Col 3:23)

Now that you belong to me, it should feel horrible to continue doing things that you know displease me. You are born of God now, and our father and I empower you to stay clean and pure in this world by our spirit. (1Joh 5:18)

When you're stressed out, you tend to turn to everyone else and ask their opinion. But what you need will only come from me. It is found in quiet contemplation of my faithfulness, and trust in my love and power that will bring you out unscathed. (Isa 30:15)

Do not quench the Spirit by trying to ignore him or disobeying him. He is your only hope for living a holy life. He provides you the wisdom and strength you need to get through the day, and will empower you to love others as only I can. What has the Spirit been trying to say to you? (1The 5:19)

I have appointed you to my service, so I will always provide you with my strength. Because you have placed your daily trust in me for everything that is important to you, I consider you trustworthy to receive and fulfill my calling on your life. Continue to trust in me. (1Tim 1:12)

Your patience with the suffering of others publicly sets you apart. People enduring illness often feel so vulnerable and isolated, fearful, exhausted and overwhelmed. They are rarely at their best, and it would be very easy to get annoyed with them. But I call you to go with them not only one mile, but two. Forgive their ill humor or bad mood that pushes everyone else away, and move closer - close enough to touch them with my selfless, endless love. (Gal 4:14)

I will reveal things to you privately, however not everything is to be shared publicly with others. When you are in doubt about whether or not something is from me, then share it in private to a select few who are more mature in their relationship with me, and who walk according to their talk. Take their counsel about whether or not what you believe you have received fits into the entire counsel of God through my Word. If it is confirmed, then share it as I direct you. (Gal 2:2)

Living by rules and regulations is the opposite of living by faith in me. You can live by a set of laws without ever knowing or having a relationship with me. Whatever you choose to live by is what you will be judged against. If you want to live by rules, you'll have to keep them perfectly. It is much simpler to live by my daily words to you, because I will also give you the supernatural power (grace) to accomplish what I instruct you to do. (Gal 3:12)

I know it is easy to be tempted to revenge when someone else has wronged you, especially, if you know you were in the right. One of the greatest ways to apply your faith is to respond with a blessing. Moreover, be an example to others who may be with you in times of trouble so that they can glorify the Father in Heaven. Learn to trust me with all your heart, even in trouble. (Rom 12:19)

Especially in the hardest of times, you can experience joy from the Holy Spirit. I am so proud when you stand up for me instead of giving in to what the world expects of you, and instead cling in faith to my words. (1The 1:6)

Everyone who wants to live a godly life in me will be persecuted. They persecuted me, so they will persecute you. You must be prepared to endure suffering for my name's sake. I will always be with you, and empower you to withstand the attacks of the enemy, and turn what he meant for evil into good. But I need you to be faithful to me while you are going through it. (2Tim 3:12)

Be careful about participating in conversations that do not glorify me. It is very easy to slide down the slippery slope and end up with a mindset of the unbelievers with whom you keep company. Don't be overconfident that you are above it all, because you are not. Avoid godless chatter. (2Tim 2:16)

The enemy is continually trying to tear apart the body. One way is by bringing up accusations against the leaders in your church. The accusation may come through another brother or sister, or maybe it arises from your own mind, but do not meditate on it, and do not repeat it. If there is any issue, go directly to the person and speak to them about it. Otherwise, treat it like the poison that it is, and avoid contact with it. (1Tim 5:19)

Your emotions can so often make you very vulnerable to attacks. When you are hurting or needy, agents of the enemy can prey on your weaknesses. When you are feeling empty, alone, or wanting excitement, your flesh is all too ready for you to indulge in sensual pleasure. Do not allow anyone to take advantage of you when you are like this, but protect yourself by constant prayer. (2Tim 3:6)

When you are standing firm in me, you bring great joy not only to me, but to those who have poured themselves into you so you may become mature in your faith. You can be a blessing to those who have blessed you by sharing with them the good things I reveal to you and accomplish in your life. Who can you encourage today? (1The 3:8)

You think that small disagreements between you and your brothers and sisters don't really mean much, but they create discord and disunity in my body. Unity doesn't always mean sharing the same ideas, but allowing others to have differing opinions. Sometimes you simply need to agree to disagree in order to keep the peace in the body. (Phi 4:2)

When you face trials and suffering, you have one weapon that no one can take away. It is the fact that you personally know who I am. You have experienced that I am trustworthy and keep my promises, and that I am faithful to take care of you and everything that is important to you. Remind yourself constantly of the ways that I have proved myself to you. (2Tim 1:12)

Do not be surprised when you face persecution. I told you beforehand that if they persecuted me that they will persecute you also. But be encouraged, have no fear, for I am with you always. Tell me what I can do to help you live for me today. (1The 3:4)

There are people who will turn away from my word, preferring instead to make up stories about who I am and how the world works. The universe, as they call it, is their attempt to fabricate a god who does not correct or rebuke them or require anything of them. Do not allow them to turn you aside to these false myths. (2Tim 4:4)

Direct your thoughts heavenward, toward me, and my kingdom. Don't get caught up in the temporal, earth-bound cares about material things, or what other people think. Keep your mind set on what will be here for you forever - me and our father. (Col 3:2)

If you are not sure about something, don't worry about that. We will make that clear to you in due time. If it is a subject of debate between you and someone else, do not feel you have to prove you are right or have all the answers. I will reveal what needs to be known at the right time to the right people. Trust me in this. (Phi 3:15)

Always share good news about fellow believers and how the gospel is being spread. It encourages my body to know that the kingdom of God is growing. Take every opportunity to share your testimony as well. (Col 4:7)

My purpose for you is to be my servant, leading others to the knowledge of me, so they will trust in me. Their faith will allow me to come and live inside of them by my spirit, so that they can live a godly life. You lead the charge to bring the hope of eternal life to a lost and dying world around you. (Tit 1:1)

I am breathing peace upon you. I give my peace to you so you will have it with you in every situation, dealing with every person. It is always available for you through my Holy Spirit - just surrender to Him, and trust the Father and I to take care of what is important to you. Do not let your heart be troubled over anything - trust in me and be surrounded with my peace. (Joh 14:27)

Always remember that God is good. Even though the enemy wants you to believe that God doesn't care, or you've done things that warrant Him allowing bad things to happen to you, our Father wants good things for you. He is the good, good Father that wants good things for His child. (Jer 29:11)

I know what I am doing. You've got to trust me. I know the future, and it is good. Talk to me about what is concerning and distracting you. (Jer 29:11)
