Step 9. We made direct amends to such people whenever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others. - Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there in front of the altar. Because you know me, the timing of my return may be unknown, but you expect my coming. To those who do not know me, my return will be frightening. However, for you, it will be the sudden fulfillment of a long desired hope, like a dream come true. Tell me what you've dreamed of doing in heaven... (1The 5:4)

What you see is what you get when you live by sight. But when you live by faith, you get so much more than what you see. You receive my peace, my power, my love, my presence - all of the things that are invisible but eternal. Hope comes when you focus your eyes away from temporary things and onto your future with me forever. (2Cor 4:18)

When I come back for you, you will no longer be hampered by your flaws and failures, because you will be transformed into my likeness. You will share in my glory, my characteristics and traits. Eagerly look forward to that day, but live through me now. (Col 3:4)

Be careful of people who have an unhealthy interest in controversies, who quarrel about particular words, and who stir up envy, strife, evil speaking and suspicions toward others. If you find them often in the midst of friction between people, stay far away from them. You are called to bring peace wherever you go, so do not seek out trouble or those who cause it. (1Tim 6:4)

I know it is easy to be tempted to revenge when someone else has wronged you, especially, if you know you were in the right. One of the greatest ways to apply your faith is to respond with a blessing. Moreover, be an example to others who may be with you in times of trouble so that they can glorify the Father in Heaven. Learn to trust me with all your heart, even in trouble. (Rom 12:19)

Everyone starts out foolish and disobedient, being deceived and enslaved by their desires and feelings. In the natural, selfish thoughts cause envy and anger which devolve into hatred. I do not expect perfection from you, but I do expect progress in these areas as you learn to listen to, obey and remain in me more continually. (Tit 3:3)

When you feel like you are sinking, I will pull you up. I will draw you out of the deep waters of hurt and depression and fear and pull you to myself. You are mine, and I will always protect you. Just call out my name. (Psa 18:16)

Don't put your trust in other people and other relationships - that will always lead to disappointment. People come and go, and do not have control over their own actions or what will happen to them. But you can completely trust in and rely upon me, because I will never, never, never leave you or abandon you. (Heb 13:5)

Many things can take you by surprise, but don't let them rock your world. Instead, make sure that you do not react, but that you strive to consistently act in love in every circumstance. That is how you live a life worthy of your calling. (Phi 1:27)

There will be times when I will send someone to correct you, because you have wandered away from the truth. It has happened to all of my followers at one time or another, so receive the reproof with humility and submission. I have sent them to you so that you will stop and take a good long look at your life, your words, your thoughts, your actions, and even your belongings, to make sure you are still in the center of my will. (Gal 2:11)

I will rescue you from every evil attack against you. I have promised that I will bring you safely into my heavenly Kingdom. That is why all glory, honor and praise is due to my name for ever and ever. (2Tim 4:18)

When you pray, I want you to pray for those who are in authority over you. That includes kings and queens and presidents, as well as your supervisors at work. My goal for you is that you may live peacefully and quietly in all godliness and holiness, and those in authority over you will affect your life in those areas. (1Tim 2:2)

You think that small disagreements between you and your brothers and sisters don't really mean much, but they create discord and disunity in my body. Unity doesn't always mean sharing the same ideas, but allowing others to have differing opinions. Sometimes you simply need to agree to disagree in order to keep the peace in the body. (Phi 4:2)

Be very careful not to seek out teachers that only tell you what you want to hear. Those who speak on my behalf will sometimes speak correction and rebuke. Do not shy away from them, or think they are not from me, but listen to them and see what truth you need to apply to your life. (2Tim 4:3)

Hold firmly to the truth you have learned of me through my Holy Spirit. Every day, you are bombarded by falsehoods, misrepresentations, and even communications spawned by sheer evil. If you meditate on these things, your gaze will be focused on the world and your attitude will become increasingly fleshly. Do not lose all of the ground you have gained through your hard labor in Christ by letting the truth slip from your grasp. Hold on! (Phi 2:16)

I am coming back for you. I told you before that I have gone to prepare a place for you to live with me forever. Those believers who have already passed on in death will be there with me to meet you. What incredible rejoicing there will be! (1The 4:15)

The times are uncertain and often frightening. So encourage one another with the truth not only about life, but about death. It is a temporary separation from loved ones, and a permanent reunion with me. There is no reason to be afraid. (1The 4:18)

The more you understand about me and my kingdom, the more hope you will have where others may experience despair. Death for non-believers leads to inconsolable grief. Death for believers is a momentary separation that will end in reunion in the future. Who can you share that hope with today? (1The 4:13)

It is possible for you to rejoice even when you are suffering, because you are sharing in my suffering. Suffering for the sake of my body, my church, brings glory to me, because you are suffering just as I did for you. (Col 1:24)

This world brings many things that bring fear. But even if the worst should happen, even if you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I am always with you, and I will always come through for you. I will always take care of you. (Psa 23:4)

This world is temporary and fleeting. People come and go, and life still goes on. This may seem like a cruelty, but you are just a visitor, an alien in this world. You are now a spiritual person with a physical body, my emissary working on my behalf in this natural world until you return to live forever with me. Make the most of your time here, but do not think this is all there is. Your heavenly mansion, your complete healing, your reunion with loved ones still awaits you. (Psa 103:16)

I am the main model for your behavior, your thoughts, your words, and your attitude. However, I have put others around you who are more mature than you, and they are to be your models as well. You are also my model for those who are less mature than you - they are always looking at you. So walk worthy of your calling, and remember that you represent me at all times. (Phi 3:17)

Reminders of your failures only come from 2 places - the enemy of your soul and your own heart. The Holy Spirit will convict you of sin, but never try to make you feel worthless. He expresses my love for you while reminding you what I have said about sin and righteousness. Our Father will not continue to accuse you of something for which you have repented - He is not angry about what has been forgiven. Trust in His never ending love for you, and the permanence of the salvation I have purchased for you with my own blood. (Psa 103:9)

As I fill you with my love for our Father and for others, and teach you more about myself and my heart's desires, you will begin to act just like me. You will have more joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control as you surrender to my Spirit's will, and allow my love to flow through you. As you stand clothed in my righteousness before our Father, you will bring glory, honor and praise to Him. (Phi 1:11)

I am looking forward to the day that I return for you. All who had slept in death will be caught up with me first, and then you will be caught up with me and meet me in the air. We will be together forever! Tell me how that makes you feel. (1The 4:17)

I want you to acknowledge those who work hard for my kingdom among you. Those who care for you, encourage you, teach you and hold you accountable deserve your highest regard. They are not perfect, but neither are you, so don't judge them for their failures, but praise them for their victories. Who can you praise and encourage today? (1The 5:12)

Always remember that God is good. Even though the enemy wants you to believe that God doesn't care, or you've done things that warrant Him allowing bad things to happen to you, our Father wants good things for you. He is the good, good Father that wants good things for His child. (Jer 29:11)

Nothing you can do with your body can get you into heaven. Salvation from the penalty, power and presence of sin in your life comes only from repenting of your sins, acknowledging that I am the Son of God who paid for your sins with my sacrificial death, as well as surrendering your life and submitting your decisions to me as your Lord. Once you belong to me, "works" will automatically flow out of you by the power of my Spirit. (Gal 2:16)

Our Father's most cherished desire has always been to have a close relationship with his children. He wanted the nation of Israel to come up the mountain and personally get to know him, to be their father. Instead, they just wanted a list of do's and don'ts so they could live their lives apart from him. But that original promise to love and take care of his children still stands for you today. Don't settle for trying to obey his laws; spend time in an intimate relationship with him instead. (Gal 3:17)

When you finally accept me as your true provider, realizing that I know your needs and love you enough to meet them, you will be able to be content no matter what circumstances arise. You will not be shaken by sudden changes in situations, because you know that I am still Lord over all people and things. If you find your contentment in me alone, you will never be disappointed, because I will never leave you nor forsake you. (Phi 4:11)

I am breathing peace upon you. I give my peace to you so you will have it with you in every situation, dealing with every person. It is always available for you through my Holy Spirit - just surrender to Him, and trust the Father and I to take care of what is important to you. Do not let your heart be troubled over anything - trust in me and be surrounded with my peace. (Joh 14:27)

I am using everything that you are going through to transform you into my likeness. In the perspective of eternity, what you are struggling with will pass in a twinkling of an eye. However, the results of working through your challenges head on (instead of trying to go around them) will last forever. Keep your eyes on the joy set before you - being with me. (2Cor 4:17)

Husbands must love their wives sacrificially, in a way that will cost them something, especially their time. Love shouldn't be given only when it's convenient, with nothing else to do. They must make time for her, and not begrudge it. (Col 3:19)

Husbands must remember what first drew them to their wives, what made them love her. I call them to treat her as they did when they courted her, and not as though she is some type of obstacle that is blocking them from getting what then want. They need to come to me for all of their needs, and I will provide them. (Col 3:19)

You have stolen my heart, my bride, my church. I have waited throughout eternity for you, and soon we will be together. (Son 4:9)

I can't wait until I can hold you in my arms and embrace you. You are my beloved one, my sister and my love. (Son 2:6)

What makes a woman beautiful is her continued faith in me, expressed in her love for others, and a life marked with holiness. She is radiant in her righteousness, fit to be my bride. Strive for this internal beauty that will last forever. (1Tim 2:15)

You've got to be honest with yourself, and acknowledge your thoughts and actions that go the wrong way. I know that you want to do right, but don't always get it right. Just confess them to me, and everything will be forgiven. (1Joh 1:9)

Jonah could not stand the thought of me showing mercy to Israel's enemies, he wanted all of them to perish even though they were warned. I know the hurt your going through because of people in your past, I don't condone their actions, but I don't approve of your Judgements of them either. (Mat 5:44)

Our Father knows how frail you are, how your flesh will always want to do whatever it wants, and that you continually face a battle against your own body, as well as self-centered thoughts and attitudes. He doesn't punish you for every sin, nor for your natural bent toward selfishness and rebellion. He loves you just as you are, and knows that, without His supernatural power in your life, you could never live for Him. So keep running back to Him in repentance, asking to be continually filled with His Spirit so you don't walk according to the flesh. (Psa 103:10)

Tell others about me wherever you go. Sing about me, talk about me, share pictures and videos about me. But most of all, live your life so that others can see me through your actions, words, and especially your gratitude for what I have done for you. (Col 3:16)

When you pray for others, our father is so pleased with you. It is the same way when you offer up thanksgiving to God. It is like a sweet smelling savor, a fragrant perfume that rises before him and makes him glad. For what can you offer thanksgiving to Him right now? (1Tim 2:3)

When you entered into a relationship with me by faith, you received every spiritual blessing I have to offer. I promised never to leave nor forsake you, and to take care of everything which you entrust to me. No one else can ever take away what I have given to you or promised you, nor can they give you more that I can give. For all eternity, I am yours and you are mine, and everything I have I share with you. Decide today to faithfully use the spiritual gifts I have given to you in service to me. (Gal 3:15)

It can be so tempting to think about giving up, but you are here for a reason, my reason, and when it is time for you to come home, I will come and receive you to myself. So while you are here, live for me, act on my behalf, give generously of yourself to others. Labor for me out of love for me, for I am your exceedingly great reward. (Phi 1:22)

Many will abandon you as you walk along my narrow road. Do not be surprised, because some people I place in your life only for a season, only for certain lessons. Do not place your hope in anyone other than me, for I will always come to you quickly and provide everything that you need. (2Tim 4:10)

You cannot see everything that the Father and I are doing on your behalf in the spiritual realm. You see evil people supposedly getting away with or even rewarded for their actions, but these are only temporary. We will have our victory in the end, and there will be justice for those who have been trampled upon by the unrighteous. Trust us, and be patient as we work out our perfect will in this world. (Psa 103:6)

Your patience with the suffering of others publicly sets you apart. People enduring illness often feel so vulnerable and isolated, fearful, exhausted and overwhelmed. They are rarely at their best, and it would be very easy to get annoyed with them. But I call you to go with them not only one mile, but two. Forgive their ill humor or bad mood that pushes everyone else away, and move closer - close enough to touch them with my selfless, endless love. (Gal 4:14)

All the blessings of your life are from the Father. Every healing you receive in your body now, the healing you are receiving in your soul, and the final healing you will receive when you are with us in heaven, are all from our Father's hand. Every sin that you commit that is covered by my blood, forgiven and purposely never again remembered, is because of our Father's love for you. Thank Him today for His never ending love and provision in your life. (Psa 103:3)

I can turn any situation into one that glorifies our Father and further transforms you into my image. I can even take sickness and use it for good, displaying my mighty power within you while you are humanly weak. I can open doors for witnessing that were previously shut, and provide opportunities for miracles. I am still with you, remaining Lord over all, and I will not waste one opportunity to bring you closer to me, and simultaneously reconcile the world to our Father. (Gal 4:13)

Your God and your destiny are intertwined. If you acknowledge that I am your God, by humbling yourself before me, trusting and obeying me out of love for me, your destination is heaven. If, however, you are your own god, and you live to fulfill your own desires, trusting only in yourself as your supreme authority, then your destination is hell. Don't let your mind settle on earthly things, but always set your eyes on me, the author and perfecter of your faith. (Phi 3:19)

Everything in heaven and on earth, seen and unseen, was created by my father and I. All of the rulers and people with power and authority have been placed there by my father, to accomplish His will. You can trust that he knows what he is doing in your life. (Col 1:16)

You will hear people tell you many things that they think are in the Bible, but many of them are nothing more than godless myths and old wives tales. It's up to you to train yourself to be godly by searching the scriptures for yourself. What have you learned from my Word today? (1Tim 4:7)

It is very easy to get consumed with other people's lives. But there is a name for people who pay more attention to others' lives than their own - they are busy bodies. They have too much time on their hands, and get caught up in issues that are none of their business. Stay away from these gossips, and be very careful that you do not become one. (2The 3:11)

May our father himself, the God of peace, cleanse you thoroughly and set you aside for his purposes. May you surrender yourself completely to him so that your whole spirit, soul and body will be kept blameless when I return for you. Ask the father, in my name, to cleanse you from that area in which you struggle, and he will do it. (1The 5:22)

When I come in the clouds and return for you, I will bring with me those who have fallen asleep in death who believed in me. It will be the greatest reunion of all time. Death has no sting for believers, for they are, at most, temporarily separated from each other. Who do you look forward to seeing? (1The 4:14)

There will be times when I will hold you back from going to certain places, or meeting with certain people. There is a time and a season and a purpose for everything I do and do not do. Simply listen and obey, go when I say go, follow when I say follow. Trust my timing for everything in your life. In what area of your life are you tempted to rush ahead of me? (Gal 1:18)

I know you could list off the reasons to be proud of yourself, the things you have done right all on your own. But they are nothing to boast about. Recounting to yourself and others your accomplishments is a sign of your own insecurity in me, your thoughts and fears that you are not enough just as you are, and have to keep on bolstering your self-worth through your achievements. All that matters is what I have achieved in and through you by my Spirit. Stop striving and let me be your source of worth today. (Phi 3:4)

By taking on the form of man, and obeying even if it meant giving up my life, I was able to show you how to humble yourself through obedience. Humility before God means acknowledging that He and His will is of great importance because He is our Creator and Sustainer. Humility before people means acknowledging that you are not the most important person, and that others are just as important to God, and should always be treated with value and dignity. (Phi 2:8)

Rejoice at all times, in every situation, because I am Lord over everything, and I will have the final say. Your joy comes from deep within you, from my Spirit who lives in you, and doesn't depend on outside circumstances. So rejoice that I am with you always, even throughout eternity. What can you rejoice over now? (1The 5:16)

I am calling you to rejoice in me always. Do not allow the changing and sometimes upsetting circumstances around you to rob you of your joy. When you are upset, you can be quick tempered, and negative. But I need you to keep your faith in me, and to act in love, patience and gentleness despite what is going on around you. What situation is tempting you to not act in love? (Phi 4:5)

I never want you to think that I died to ransom you out of obligation to our Father. I did it because I truly love you. The affection I feel for you makes me long to keep you close to myself and take care of you. Come into my presence now and let me love on you. (Phi 1:8)

In everything that you do, remember that you are in my presence. I am the one who will judge the living and the dead, the one who is returning to bring his kingdom to the Earth. Because you belong to me, I expect you to act like me and represent me in front of others. (2Tim 4:1)

I never asked you to judge another believer, but you must learn to discern who is acting as though I am their Lord and who is simply doing whatever they want. Believers whose lives do not show that they know me will not bring you closer to me. So be very careful who you spend a lot of time with and who you become close to. Pay close attention to the fruit of their life. (2The 3:6)

Faith is the only thing that matters in your life. Everything you do must be in trusting response to my will, which I will make known to you. You can't, at any time, substitute your own works for obeying me. There is no action you can take or thing you can offer that will make up for rejecting my instructions to you. I require that you be merciful to others, do the right thing, and walk humbly in obedience to me at all times. (Gal 2:17)

Always remember how much you have been forgiven, and that others deserve the same kind of forgiveness. You were no better than anyone else, but I forgave you. Accept others as I accepted you, knowing that they are as imperfect as you are in this world. (Col 3:13)

When you remember all I have done for you, where I have brought you out from, and how much I love you, it should result in overflowing gratitude. You should also feel compassion for those who are now where you were before you met me. Be patient, kind, and merciful to them as I have been to you. (Col 3:12)

Many people really believe that what they have been taught by others is the truth. They will act upon it with all earnestness. But that does not mean that it is the truth. Be careful to compare what others say to the truth of my word. And be merciful to those who believe not according to my word but what they have been taught. You do not have the complete truth either, so do not judge them. (Gal 1:14)

My promises are only for those who live by their faith in me. If you don't trust in me, in my goodness, faithfulness, loving kindness, mercy and my power, you won't trust in my promises. Not living by faith in what I have said is like refusing to reach out and take a costly gift which I have laid before you. Be like Abraham, and trust that I will keep my promises to you. But that also entails acting upon that assurance that things will happen according to my timing. (Gal 3:16)

Those in authority must deal with the members of my body as a father deals with his own children. Judgement must be tempered with love and mercy, with the goal of raising up this child of God to be like me. They are not the judge, they are the shepherd and overseer of their souls. Is there anyone to whom you may have been harsh? (1The 2:10)

Set an example for all of the other believers in your speech, in your conduct, in the way you love, in your trust in me, and in your purity of lifestyle. Don't give anyone a reason to speak evil about you. Choose your actions carefully and protect your faith diligently. (1Tim 4:12)

The past has played its part in forming who you are in the natural, but it does not have to define who you are now or will be in the future. It is important to go back for a season to what happened to you so you may face it and be healed from it, but never stay chained to it. Once I reveal and begin healing you from it, leave it behind and stretch yourself to move forward, toward my future and my calling for you. (Phi 3:13)

I know people can get on your nerves, but the one thing that shows people that you belong to me is when you love others, especially your brothers and sisters in me. Ask My spirit inside of you to love them through you. (1Joh 3:10)

The feeling of being angry leads to angry actions. Then it turns into evil thoughts that lead to evil words. Finally, your lips will spew filthy language. This is not acceptable for children of God; you must rid yourself of all of those things. (Col 3:8)

Search for me with all of your energy. You will expend yourself on so many other things that are less deserving; why will you not expend yourself on my behalf in that way? Seek me until you have found me, because you will find me when you seek me with all of your heart. (2Tim 1:17)

When you doubt my presence in your life, or that I exist, search within yourself and let my spirit comfort you. If my spirit lives in you, then you live in me and my father. (1Joh 4:13)

Your flesh will always want whatever it wants, like a toddler. It will never change. There will always be a struggle for it to be satisfied. So you must find ways to be satisfied in Me, at peace because you are filled with Me. Worship me, give thanks to me, soak in my presence - do whatever it takes in the spirit to be filled with me so you do not give in to the cravings of the flesh. (Psa 63:5)

When you learn how to find your fulfillment and joy in me despite your external circumstances, you will enjoy endless peace. You never need to doubt that I will provide for whatever you need, especially the ability to continue in the midst of adversity. A lack of things will never affect you while your trust is placed firmly in my loving kindness, power, and faithfulness. What in your life is making you doubt my faithfulness? (Phi 4:12)

When you became one with me, and I brought your spirit to life, your old way of life that didn't care about pleasing God ended. Your new way of life is now directed and empowered by my spirit. And when our father looks at you, he does not see your sin, because you are wrapped up in my righteousness. (Col 3:3)

Always remember that I came to earth in the flesh, was testified about by the Holy Spirit, seen by angels, and have been preached among the Nations. I have been believed on in the world, and I was taken up in glory. I am your God and King, the lion and the lamb, the Lord of Glory. Worship me today. (1Tim 3:16)

When in a position of power, it is easy to fall into the trap of taking advantage of others. But I demand that you be fair and good, so that those who work under you see me in you, and praise their father in Heaven for you. (Col 4:1)

Anyone who professes to worship God should have a life that is adorned with good deeds. Having a personal faith means nothing if it is not expressed to the outside world. Your faith should be expressed in self-sacrificial acts of kindness toward others. What good deed can you do today? (1Tim 2:10)

When a child doesn't like the answer they receive from their parent, they have a habit of asking the same question over and over again. Sometimes you are like that, too; I say "no" or "not yet", but you continue to ask in hopes I will change my mind. I know you don't like it when I don't immediately answer your prayers in the affirmative, and that you sometimes get angry with me for it. But you need to trust that I know what is best. Outside of my timing, your requests will not satisfy you, nor will they fulfill the will of God. (Gal 4:16)

Pray to me, and ask me for opportunities for you to share the good news about me. Do not be afraid or nervous about what you will say. I will provide the timing and the words. (Col 4:3)

You can love the ones who hurt you by praying for them. You will be free of the pain and anger that is poisoning you, not them. Because I fill you with My love, you can choose to do that. (Mat 5:44)

There are those who oppose and ridicule the truth of my word. Their minds are depraved, and they reject knowledge of me. But it is not long before they expose themselves for the foolish people they are. Let me deal with them, and do not try to change their mind. Stay far away from them. (2Tim 3:9)

There will be times when I speak things to you that I do not want you to share with others. I simply want you to listen and obey. It will be a temptation for you to speak of it to others, in order to get their approval. But if I have spoken to you clearly, and you are sure of your purpose, simply surrender and obey. (Gal 1:17)

The entire purpose of filling you with my Holy Spirit is to empower you to respond to me in obedience. You were born for a purpose, given gifts, talents and characteristics that are perfect for the plan God has devised specifically for your life. So always remember that it is OUR power working mightily within you to fulfill the Father's purpose for your life - stop fighting in your own strength, and allow the Holy Spirit to accomplish God's will in and around you. (Phi 2:13)

I need you to remain open to do whatever I ask of you. Sometimes I will send you to assist another in their ministry, and at other times will send others to help you with yours. I do not call any man to work alone, but to always be a part of my body, connected to other members. (2Tim 4:11)

Not everyone shares the same calling. That is why I have widely distributed various spiritual gifts and natural talents, and assigned people to different paths. There are so many people who need to discover who I am, and then be taught about me and trained to be my disciple. Just as a body has multiple essential parts to make it work, so it is in my church. Be faithful to fulfill the calling I have placed on your own life. (Gal 2:9)

Although every desire you have in your heart is not in your best interest, it is still the heart of the Father to give you healthy desires of your heart. He knows that long periods spent without something to satisfy your emotional needs can crush your soul and bring on depression. But you must trust that He knows which desires will result in righteousness, and which will lead you into sin and separation from Him. He will satisfy your good desires, and they will help you soar over the struggles you have in your life. (Psa 103:5)

When people ridicule or scorn you because of your beliefs, remember all that I endured when others railed against me. If you don't keep me, the Perfecter of your faith, in front of your mind, you will faint and become weary. Rejoice because you are sharing in my sufferings. (Heb 12:3)

Your relationships with others need to mirror the way I have relationships with people. I never thought of others as less than me, but treated them with respect. I let them know they were valuable to me, and served them out of genuine care for their welfare. I didn't wait for them to become worthy of my friendship; instead my love and friendship helped them heal and walk worthy of me. I need you to have my mindset when dealing with all people. (Phi 2:5)

When you repented and asked for forgiveness, it was granted to you. That matter was settled, the debt owed was paid, the file on the judge's desk was marked 'NOT GUILTY', sealed and filed away forever. It was removed from your record, just as if it never happened. The judge will not take that file back out to review it ever again. That's how far your sin was separated from you, so leave it and move on. (Psa 103:12)

Those who have been entrapped by the devil cannot be stolen from his grasp by the force of your words or your will. It will take gentle instruction and sincere love for them. It is my kindness that leads them to repentance, and is their only hope of coming to their senses and escaping the trap of the enemy. (2Tim 2:26)

When you are standing firm in me, you bring great joy not only to me, but to those who have poured themselves into you so you may become mature in your faith. You can be a blessing to those who have blessed you by sharing with them the good things I reveal to you and accomplish in your life. Who can you encourage today? (1The 3:8)

Just remember, there is no place for hatred in you because you belong to me. Stay focused on thoughts that keep you in My light at all times. What good things can you thank me for right now? (1Joh 2:9)

My purpose for you is to be my servant, leading others to the knowledge of me, so they will trust in me. Their faith will allow me to come and live inside of them by my spirit, so that they can live a godly life. You lead the charge to bring the hope of eternal life to a lost and dying world around you. (Tit 1:1)

When you are overwhelmed, find rest in me, your Lord and your Savior. I alone am your rock and salvation, and you can rest assured that I am more than capable of handling whatever you may face today. When you cling in faith to me as your rock, you will never be shaken, no matter what happens in your life. (Psa 62:1)

For the unbelieving, wickedness feels good. Sin is pleasurable for a season, but then comes the wages of sin which is death. Too many love their wickedness, and therefore refuse to see the truth and come to me. Pray for them that their eyes may be opened, and that they may not die from their wickedness, but will repent and take me as their lord and savior. (2The 2:12)

When your actions show that you belong to me, and your speech acknowledges your faith in me, you bring glory to our Father. I brought glory to our Father by being obedient to His will and pointing everyone I met to Him. Although one day everyone will have to admit that I am Lord, you bring unending joy to the Father and I by willingly, publicly proclaiming through your life and your words that I am the only way to the Father. (Phi 2:11)

Stand firm in me. Everything else around you can be a whirlwind of change. However, I remain the same, I am your rock, steady and secure. I am the only thing you can be sure of. So rest in my promises, and remain firm in your commitment and surrender to me. (Phi 4:1)

I call you to come to me, listen to me, trust me and in faith, obey me. That is the covenant between you and I. You entrust yourself and everything that is important to you unto my care, and I, in turn, provide for and protect you. I have everything you need for life and godliness, but it is up to you to stay filled with my Spirit and close to me so you can access all of the gifts I so long to give you. What in your life is pulling you away from me? (Psa 103:18)

If you know that I have spoken to you, then obey me. There are times when you may not be sure, and there is wisdom in taking the counsel of other godly brothers and sisters. But sometimes, no one else will understand what I have spoken to you in secret and assigned to you to accomplish. In those times, trust in me completely, despite what others say. (Gal 1:16)

Your calling is not of men, but of me and our father. Men cannot make you worthy of the calling, nor can they call you to my service. Be careful of confusing filling a current need with answering your calling. They are very different things. So do not take on a position unless you are sure that I have called you into it, but be willing to fill individual needs as I bring them to you. (Gal 1:1)

Everyone lives by their own code, or by a code that someone else has set for them. Some people believe that I have a set of rules and regulations that, if they follow them, will allow them to get into heaven. But I have only one two-part rule - LISTEN and OBEY. My commands for you personally can change from situation to situation, so live by every word that proceeds from my mouth. (Gal 2:19)

Do not think that God is blind to those who persecute and reject his children. But remember that they are still part of his beloved creation, and though he hates their sins, he loves them and wants them to become adopted as children of God. Have you been experiencing feelings of rejection from anyone? (1The 2:15)

I do not want anyone to perish, and yet there are those who refuse to believe the truth, and love lies instead. They would rather create their own kingdom and be in control of their lives than be a part of my kingdom, and surrender their life. That is why it is so important for you to openly live a life surrendered to me, so others may learn the way to eternal life. (2The 2:10)

When you have a position of authority over others, remember that you are still under my authority. I am your supervisor, and they are my employees. So treat them as I would treat them, and judge them as you would have me judge you. (Col 4:1)

When you utilize the power I have placed in you and others see it, you point people toward me by revealing how powerful I truly am. You glorify my name when you tell others about what I have done for, in and through you. I want to be glorified throughout the world, but I want to start within your world and the people around you. With whom can you share something I have done for you? (2The 1:12)

I am the express image of our invisible father, and he has placed me over all the earth, and all creation. He gave me that authority as his first born, but you have been adopted as his child as well, and also inherit this authority. (Col 1:15)

Whenever I require you to speak, I will reveal what I want you to say. I want you to be open, if not eager, to share about what I have done in your life. I don't ask you to speak to everyone, just those to whom I direct you. (Col 4:4)

The best that the law can do is act as a driving instructor. It can't make you drive the speed limit, or stay on the right side of the road, or not crash into someone else. But living by faith is like having the Holy Spirit take the wheel and drive lawfully for you. You start desiring to do what is right, so you don't need an instructor telling you what not to do. Surrender to the Spirit's leading today and you will automatically fulfill the righteousness of the law. (Gal 3:24)

When you're stressed out, you tend to turn to everyone else and ask their opinion. But what you need will only come from me. It is found in quiet contemplation of my faithfulness, and trust in my love and power that will bring you out unscathed. (Isa 30:15)

I want you to know every part of me, my power to overcome this world, my love for the Father and for everyone else. But that also includes knowing me in my death to my own desires, my subjecting myself in obedience to my Father in opposition to my natural will. Like me, you will learn obedience through what you suffer. That is also how you will experience the same power that resurrected me from the dead. (Phi 3:10)

I want my Spirit to rain on you and saturate you through and through. Be still in my presence and let me pour my Spirit out upon you generously. In my Spirit is my life, my power, my love. Stop struggling and just soak. (Tit 3:6)

You may have many struggles in this world, but you have overcome the world by my spirit that lives within you. I overcame the world, and gave you the same authority over the enemy that I have. Use that authority! (1Joh 4:4)

Be very afraid of sliding into hatred. No one who hates truly has my life inside of them. Remain in my love. (1Joh 3:15)

While others are busy complaining about what's wrong at work, I want you to stand out from the crowd with a great attitude. Give thanksgiving and praise for what is good, and do not join the throng in bad mouthing. Speaking negatively does not bring me glory, or lead others to me. (Col 3:23)

Discord in the body of Christ can undermine what I want to accomplish. If you know that there are members who have problems with each other, and those issues will affect the unity of the body, then leadership needs to address those issues. You are all called to the ministry of reconciliation, which includes bringing people together on account of the Gospel. They don't need to agree on everything, only agree to set aside their differences in order to serve me better. (Phi 4:3)

Don't be unsettled by the trials you are facing. I have told you that those who believe in and belong to me are destined for struggles. But remember that I have overcome the world, so you can overcome it as well through Me. What struggle is the most pressing right now? (1The 3:3)

I have given you everything you need to live a godly life. You received that power solely by repenting and placing your faith in me. At that time, your spirit became alive, and my Holy Spirit came to live inside of you. So you don't have to complete a daily checklist, or follow a set of external rules, to earn my favor or get what you need from me. Just listen to my Spirit and obey what He says, and everything I have will be made available to you. (Gal 3:3)

If I have revealed something to you that aligns with the truth of my Word, do not be intimidated by those around you who disagree with you. If either you or they are wrong, I am fully capable of revealing the truth to everyone involved. Do not argue. Just persist in living according to the revelation which you have received, regardless if others agree with you or not. (Gal 2:5)

I designed my family to work together, with the older, more mature members teaching the younger ones the truths they have learned from me. These life lessons include controlling what you say and who you talk about, and remaining in control of your person at all times (not getting drunk or high). Most of all, everyone must learn that their conduct always reflects back on me, and their actions must show that they hold me and my words in the highest esteem. To whom can you pass on the lessons you are learning? (Tit 2:3)

When you are distressed because of suffering and persecution for my sake, remember your brothers and sisters who are in dire situations for the gospel. Be encouraged by how strongly they stand for me. Take their faith as an example, and become an imitator of them. Who can you pray for right now? (1The 3:7)

When you truly love others, you will not only want to share the gospel with them, but your personal life as well. So often, in ministry, people become targets to be reached and affected. But I want the members of my body to know and love each other individually as brothers and sisters. Who have you been hesitant to get close to? (1The 2:8)

I cannot overemphasize how important it is for you to speak my word to others. It is through the preaching and sharing of my words of life that others will come to the knowledge of me, and place their faith in me. It is not a suggestion, but it is my command that you live your life so that others see me in your actions and hear me in your words. (Tit 1:3)

No matter what happened yesterday, or what bad choices you may make today, tomorrow holds a brand new opportunity to start again and make it about Me. I am the God of second, third and a thousand chances, and I live to be merciful and loving toward you. Do not give up hope. (Lam 3:22)

You need never be alone. You are a part of my family, my body, the church, and among the members are those who are called to minister to you - if you will call out to them first. Join your faith with theirs, because I will show myself powerful when there are two or more gathered together in my name. (Mat 18:20)
