12 Step(19) If you check 12 Step, you will get an additional message with one of the 12 steps first thing every morning.

  • Step 12. Having had a spiritual experience as the result of these steps, we try to carry this message to others, and practice these principles in all our affairs. - Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. (Gal 6:1)
  • Step 10. We continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong, promptly admitted it. - So, if you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don't fall! (1Cor 10:12)
  • Step 4. We made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves. - Let us examine our ways and test them, and let us return to the Lord. (Lam 3:40)
  • Abandonment(55)

  • When you are weak and turn to me for strength, I will fill you with my power. When you are afraid and call to me, I will give you the courage to continue. I am with you wherever you go, always a whisper away, to walk with you through everything. (Jos 1:9)
  • The entire reason that I died for you is so you may live with me forever. At work or in play, awake or asleep, in life or in death, you and I are always together. When you feel alone, call out to me, pray to me, and I will answer you. Do you want to talk with me now? (1The 5:10)
  • What you see is what you get when you live by sight. But when you live by faith, you get so much more than what you see. You receive my peace, my power, my love, my presence - all of the things that are invisible but eternal. Hope comes when you focus your eyes away from temporary things and onto your future with me forever. (2Cor 4:18)
  • Anger(29)

  • Contrary to popular belief, our Father is not an angry God waiting to destroy evil doers. He is compassionate, understanding the flaws and failures of men, and gracious, offering His own power to mankind so His followers can obey Him. Unlike man, He is very slow to become angry because he overflows with love for his creation. He longs for everyone to come to Him for salvation and doesn't want anyone to be separated from Him. Think on His loving-kindness toward you and spend time in praise for his mercy in your life. (Psa 103:8)
  • Everyone starts out foolish and disobedient, being deceived and enslaved by their desires and feelings. In the natural, selfish thoughts cause envy and anger which devolve into hatred. I do not expect perfection from you, but I do expect progress in these areas as you learn to listen to, obey and remain in me more continually. (Tit 3:3)
  • Reminders of your failures only come from 2 places - the enemy of your soul and your own heart. The Holy Spirit will convict you of sin, but never try to make you feel worthless. He expresses my love for you while reminding you what I have said about sin and righteousness. Our Father will not continue to accuse you of something for which you have repented - He is not angry about what has been forgiven. Trust in His never ending love for you, and the permanence of the salvation I have purchased for you with my own blood. (Psa 103:9)
  • Anxiety(94)

  • When a child doesn't like the answer they receive from their parent, they have a habit of asking the same question over and over again. Sometimes you are like that, too; I say "no" or "not yet", but you continue to ask in hopes I will change my mind. I know you don't like it when I don't immediately answer your prayers in the affirmative, and that you sometimes get angry with me for it. But you need to trust that I know what is best. Outside of my timing, your requests will not satisfy you, nor will they fulfill the will of God. (Gal 4:16)
  • When you are weak and turn to me for strength, I will fill you with my power. When you are afraid and call to me, I will give you the courage to continue. I am with you wherever you go, always a whisper away, to walk with you through everything. (Jos 1:9)
  • Our Father knows how frail you are, how your flesh will always want to do whatever it wants, and that you continually face a battle against your own body, as well as self-centered thoughts and attitudes. He doesn't punish you for every sin, nor for your natural bent toward selfishness and rebellion. He loves you just as you are, and knows that, without His supernatural power in your life, you could never live for Him. So keep running back to Him in repentance, asking to be continually filled with His Spirit so you don't walk according to the flesh. (Psa 103:10)
  • Authority(39)

  • I am the head of the Church, my body. I am the beginning and the end, the first born from among the dead, and I rule over all. I deserve the highest place in your life, your worship, your praise and adoration. Most of all, I deserve your obedience. (Col 1:18)
  • Treat with respect those who are in authority over you, especially your employers. Do everything in your power to please them by giving them your very best. Watch your speech, and do not complain about them to others. This is the way to please and honor me at work and in church. (Tit 2:9)
  • I will reveal things to you privately, however not everything is to be shared publicly with others. When you are in doubt about whether or not something is from me, then share it in private to a select few who are more mature in their relationship with me, and who walk according to their talk. Take their counsel about whether or not what you believe you have received fits into the entire counsel of God through my Word. If it is confirmed, then share it as I direct you. (Gal 2:2)
  • Correction(36)

  • You think that small disagreements between you and your brothers and sisters don't really mean much, but they create discord and disunity in my body. Unity doesn't always mean sharing the same ideas, but allowing others to have differing opinions. Sometimes you simply need to agree to disagree in order to keep the peace in the body. (Phi 4:2)
  • There will be times when I will send someone to correct you, because you have wandered away from the truth. It has happened to all of my followers at one time or another, so receive the reproof with humility and submission. I have sent them to you so that you will stop and take a good long look at your life, your words, your thoughts, your actions, and even your belongings, to make sure you are still in the center of my will. (Gal 2:11)
(Tit 3:3)
  • Death(16)

  • Through your continual obedience to Our Father, you are becoming more and more like me in character, attitude, and actions. But there is coming a day when you will see me, and you will be like me, because I will transform your body into a likeness of my glorious body. I can do that because my power can bring everything under subjection to me. Rejoice, because that day is coming. (Phi 3:21)
  • The more you understand about me and my kingdom, the more hope you will have where others may experience despair. Death for non-believers leads to inconsolable grief. Death for believers is a momentary separation that will end in reunion in the future. Who can you share that hope with today? (1The 4:13)
  • The times are uncertain and often frightening. So encourage one another with the truth not only about life, but about death. It is a temporary separation from loved ones, and a permanent reunion with me. There is no reason to be afraid. (1The 4:18)
  • Depression(49)

  • It doesn't matter what you see on the outside of yourself - your body was never meant to last forever. It is of use when you utilize it on behalf of me, being my hands and feet, but eventually it will wear out. So focus on the part of you that will live eternally - your spirit and soul - which is continuously regenerated into my likeness day by day. (2Cor 4:16)
  • When you feel unprotected and vulnerable, remember how I long to gather you to myself and protect you from what you fear. You will always find a safe place when you run to me, for I will always come when you call. I am your fortress, your deliverer, and your shield from the enemy. Come to me and let me give you rest. (Psa 91:4)
  • When you feel like you are drowning in emotions that seem to pull you downward, remember that they are only feelings, and I am greater than your heart. Hopelessness only lives in a mind that has forgotten about me, because with me ALL things are possible. Praise me, and put your hope in my unfailing loving kindness toward you and my endless power, because unlike everything else you place your hope in, I will not disappoint you. (Psa 43:5)
  • Discipline(54)

  • I need you and your brothers and sisters to know me intimately, understand and anticipate my thoughts. I need you to remain in me so I can remain in you, and infuse you with my love for others through my Holy Spirit. You don't need to be in agreement about everything with everyone else in order to share the same loving mindset that I have. Bring me joy by loving one another. (Phi 2:2)
  • Your faith in the Father and I has made you righteous. Surrendering to the leading of the Holy Spirit living within you enables you to instinctively know what is right and act accordingly. You don't need to worry about breaking God's law when you desire to love God and love others, because love does no harm to anyone and fulfills all of the law. Live by faith, in close communion to God, and you will find yourself living in this world as I did. (Gal 3:25)
  • In order to be resurrected from the dead, you must first die. In order for you to be raised into newness of life in my image, you must die to the person you used to be. You must die to the selfish desires of the flesh, and evil thoughts of your mind. The way to kill off the flesh is to obey the Spirit, for you cannot serve two masters. Feed your spirit and starve the desires of the flesh, so you can daily be resurrected into my likeness. (Phi 3:11)
  • Encouragement(80)

  • I stand here in heaven, waiting to give you the crown of righteousness. You have eagerly longed for my appearing, have continued to believe what I say is true, and have acted upon it. I have credited righteousness to you because of your faith in me. I call you to continue to walk in faith until the day I place the crown upon your head. (2Tim 4:8)
  • I am always faithful - to strengthen you when you are weak, and to protect you from the attacks of the enemy. You are never alone as you walk through your day, because I am faithful to remain with you. You can always rely on me to provide you with everything you need, even the things you don't know you need. (2The 3:3)
  • Sometimes, you find your mind wandering toward thoughts of "what if" and "if only". If you will just turn your thoughts back to our Father's proven faithfulness, and rest in His care for you and His ability to handle every situation, you will find such peace. If you will quietly commit to complete trust in Him, you will find the strength you need to continue going. (Isa 30:15)
  • Faith(237)

  • It does not matter who you were before, or how bad you were, or how poorly you treated others. When you come to me, I wipe the slate clean spiritually, and everything becomes new. You become a new creation, in my image and for my pleasure. I can use even your past to bring my will to pass in your life and in the lives of others. Just trust me. (Gal 1:13)
  • I am over everything. My power and authority extend everywhere. My kingdom has come, and my will shall be done on earth as it is in heaven. You are my hands and my feet - stay connected to me as your head, so I may give you instructions regarding what to do and say, and the supernatural power to obey me. (Psa 103:19)
  • Oh, how much joy you will experience in the presence of our father because of those you have turned toward him. Those at one time destined for eternal separation from God will dance before you in his presence, and you will see the difference that your faithfulness and love has made in the lives of others. Imagine it now. (1The 3:9)
  • Fear(94)

  • Rejoice in me! It is a choice you make every day. It is not a feeling, but an action that you take, a decision that you make, to find your joy in me and what I have done for you and for others. Speaking what you are grateful for is the place to start, because once you start rejoicing, you will become glad! (Phi 2:18)
  • When you feel like you are sinking, I will pull you up. I will draw you out of the deep waters of hurt and depression and fear and pull you to myself. You are mine, and I will always protect you. Just call out my name. (Psa 18:16)
  • Do not be ashamed or embarrassed when you get the desire to share my words or about my life. I am prompting you by my Holy Spirit within you to tell others, regardless of whether or not they accept you, or they ridicule or persecute you. I will prepare their hearts; you only have to be obedient to plant the good seed of your testimony in their hearts. I will reap the harvest later. (2Tim 1:8)
  • For Men(2)

  • Husbands must love their wives sacrificially, in a way that will cost them something, especially their time. Love shouldn't be given only when it's convenient, with nothing else to do. They must make time for her, and not begrudge it. (Col 3:19)
  • Husbands must remember what first drew them to their wives, what made them love her. I call them to treat her as they did when they courted her, and not as though she is some type of obstacle that is blocking them from getting what then want. They need to come to me for all of their needs, and I will provide them. (Col 3:19)
  • For Women(9)

  • I love you more than you will ever know on earth. But one day, you will come home to me, and you will experience the fullness of my love for you throughout eternity. (Joh 14:2)
  • I can't wait until I can hold you in my arms and embrace you. You are my beloved one, my sister and my love. (Son 2:6)
  • It is important to me that women dress modestly, not suggestively or inappropriately. Women should always dress to please me, not to attract sexual attention to themselves. I will bring them the right person at the right time, so they do not have to draw people with their looks. (1Tim 2:9)
  • Forgiveness(26)

  • I know it is easy to be tempted to revenge when someone else has wronged you, especially, if you know you were in the right. One of the greatest ways to apply your faith is to respond with a blessing. Moreover, be an example to others who may be with you in times of trouble so that they can glorify the Father in Heaven. Learn to trust me with all your heart, even in trouble. (Rom 12:19)
  • It is possible to continue in sin for so long that you no longer care about it. Such people have consciences that have been seared as with a hot iron. If you continually spurn the leading of the Holy Spirit within you, your heart and your mind will become stubborn and rebellious against me. If there is anything wrong in your life, repent of it now and return to me. (1Tim 4:2)
  • Before you committed yourself to me and my service, you lived only for your own selfish desires. You did not care if you angered or grieved my Holy Spirit. Now that you are mine, sin should cause you great pain and lead you to repentance. Is there anything you want to confess now? (Col 3:7)
  • Giving(36)

  • While others are busy complaining about what's wrong at work, I want you to stand out from the crowd with a great attitude. Give thanksgiving and praise for what is good, and do not join the throng in bad mouthing. Speaking negatively does not bring me glory, or lead others to me. (Col 3:23)
  • The enemy knows that it doesn't take much for you to be distracted by things that you do not have, especially money. He stands waiting for the opportunity to draw you away from your faith in me because I am not giving you what you want as quickly as you want it. But anything he allows you to have will pierce you with many griefs. Trust in me and be patient while awaiting my timing. (1Tim 6:10)
  • The greatest gift you can have on this earth is contentment with what you have. If you are living in a way that pleases me, and you have the necessities of life, that is enough for you. Be grateful for every single thing that I have provided for you, and do not focus on what you do not have, because that will lead you into bitterness, anger, and envy. Has your focus been drifting lately? (1Tim 6:6)
  • Grief(19)

  • Our Father knows what His children are made of, both literally and figuratively. He formed you from the dust of the ground, as is proven by comparing the elements found in the earth's crust and your physical body. But more crucially, He understands your failings and flaws because I became a man and experienced every temptation and emotion you experience. I am the high priest that truly empathizes with your struggles, so come and share with me your heart's cries, knowing I truly understand. (Psa 103:14)
  • I know you wonder what it will be like when I return. I will come down from heaven with a loud command, and you will hear the voice of the Archangel and the trumpet call of God. The dead who believed in me will rise first and we will all be reunited. It will be glorious! (1The 4:16)
  • I am looking forward to the day that I return for you. All who had slept in death will be caught up with me first, and then you will be caught up with me and meet me in the air. We will be together forever! Tell me how that makes you feel. (1The 4:17)
  • Healing(6)

  • This world is temporary and fleeting. People come and go, and life still goes on. This may seem like a cruelty, but you are just a visitor, an alien in this world. You are now a spiritual person with a physical body, my emissary working on my behalf in this natural world until you return to live forever with me. Make the most of your time here, but do not think this is all there is. Your heavenly mansion, your complete healing, your reunion with loved ones still awaits you. (Psa 103:16)
  • The past has played its part in forming who you are in the natural, but it does not have to define who you are now or will be in the future. It is important to go back for a season to what happened to you so you may face it and be healed from it, but never stay chained to it. Once I reveal and begin healing you from it, leave it behind and stretch yourself to move forward, toward my future and my calling for you. (Phi 3:13)
  • Your patience with the suffering of others publicly sets you apart. People enduring illness often feel so vulnerable and isolated, fearful, exhausted and overwhelmed. They are rarely at their best, and it would be very easy to get annoyed with them. But I call you to go with them not only one mile, but two. Forgive their ill humor or bad mood that pushes everyone else away, and move closer - close enough to touch them with my selfless, endless love. (Gal 4:14)
  • Heaven(24)

  • When in a position of power, it is easy to fall into the trap of taking advantage of others. But I demand that you be fair and good, so that those who work under you see me in you, and praise their father in Heaven for you. (Col 4:1)
(Phi 3:21)
  • I will reward you according to your faithfulness to me. If you pour yourself out on my behalf, selflessly giving to others as I direct, then I will fill you back up with myself. You will share in the results of all of your hard work for the kingdom, but you will have to wait until heaven to see the full impact you have had. Do not grow weary of doing good things! (2Tim 2:6)
  • Holiness(120)

  • Throughout your day, whatever you do and say, do it as if you were placing it on the altar as a gift to me. Would I accept what you say and do as pleasing to me? (Col 3:17)
  • It is important to me how you conduct yourself within God's household, the church of the living God. I don't only mean in the building where you meet with others, but within the family of brothers and sisters. The world will know that you are my disciples by the love that you have for one another, so take great care to treat everyone as if they were me. (1Tim 3:15)
  • As a Christian, people are watching you, and seeing how your life reflects or does not reflect me. One way to reflect me is to carry your own load to the best of your ability, and not be a burden to anyone else. It's one thing if you cannot take care of yourself and need help, but another if you are able to do so but do not do so out of laziness. (2The 3:8)
  • Hope(33)

  • The more you understand about me and my kingdom, the more hope you will have where others may experience despair. Death for non-believers leads to inconsolable grief. Death for believers is a momentary separation that will end in reunion in the future. Who can you share that hope with today? (1The 4:13)
  • Wives must not rage and battle against their husbands. If they want something, they must come to me in prayer, and asked me for it. I can change even Pharaoh's hard heart; so I can change their husband's heart as well. (Col 3:18)
  • Although every desire you have in your heart is not in your best interest, it is still the heart of the Father to give you healthy desires of your heart. He knows that long periods spent without something to satisfy your emotional needs can crush your soul and bring on depression. But you must trust that He knows which desires will result in righteousness, and which will lead you into sin and separation from Him. He will satisfy your good desires, and they will help you soar over the struggles you have in your life. (Psa 103:5)
  • Humility(13)

  • I know you could list off the reasons to be proud of yourself, the things you have done right all on your own. But they are nothing to boast about. Recounting to yourself and others your accomplishments is a sign of your own insecurity in me, your thoughts and fears that you are not enough just as you are, and have to keep on bolstering your self-worth through your achievements. All that matters is what I have achieved in and through you by my Spirit. Stop striving and let me be your source of worth today. (Phi 3:4)
  • It is easy to get distracted by this world and its activities. You can forget all that the Father and I have done for you in the midst of your busy-ness. However, you need to remind yourself, over and over and over, of how He has blessed you. If you have a roof over your head and food on your table, you have more than most of the people in the world. Remember how your life is filled with benefits from the hand of your Lord. (Psa 103:2)
  • Jonah could not stand the thought of me showing mercy to Israel's enemies, he wanted all of them to perish even though they were warned. I know the hurt your going through because of people in your past, I don't condone their actions, but I don't approve of your Judgements of them either. (Mat 5:44)
  • Joy(26)

  • As I fill you with my love for our Father and for others, and teach you more about myself and my heart's desires, you will begin to act just like me. You will have more joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control as you surrender to my Spirit's will, and allow my love to flow through you. As you stand clothed in my righteousness before our Father, you will bring glory, honor and praise to Him. (Phi 1:11)
  • Rejoice in me! Rejoice in me! Rejoice in me! I can never say it enough to you, because your joy in me is your strength. Your joy allows my gentleness and love to be seen in you by others. Think about my goodness, my faithfulness, my never-ending love for you, and REJOICE! (Phi 3:1)
  • The more you understand about me and my kingdom, the more hope you will have where others may experience despair. Death for non-believers leads to inconsolable grief. Death for believers is a momentary separation that will end in reunion in the future. Who can you share that hope with today? (1The 4:13)
  • Judgement(40)

  • I have said that it is fitting for children to obey their parents, but you also, as a child of God, need to obey your father. When your children have trouble obeying you, remember how hard it is for you at times to obey your father. Be firm, fair and merciful to them just as your father is toward you. (Col 3:20)
  • You cannot see everything that the Father and I are doing on your behalf in the spiritual realm. You see evil people supposedly getting away with or even rewarded for their actions, but these are only temporary. We will have our victory in the end, and there will be justice for those who have been trampled upon by the unrighteous. Trust us, and be patient as we work out our perfect will in this world. (Psa 103:6)
  • In everything that you do, remember that you are in my presence. I am the one who will judge the living and the dead, the one who is returning to bring his kingdom to the Earth. Because you belong to me, I expect you to act like me and represent me in front of others. (2Tim 4:1)
  • Love(171)

  • What you see is what you get when you live by sight. But when you live by faith, you get so much more than what you see. You receive my peace, my power, my love, my presence - all of the things that are invisible but eternal. Hope comes when you focus your eyes away from temporary things and onto your future with me forever. (2Cor 4:18)
  • Don't let what you see, what you want and how you feel pull you away from our Father. Stay close to him and love him with all of your heart. What feelings are trying to derail you? (1Joh 2:16)
  • The Holy Spirit continually directs your thoughts toward the love of God for you, and your heart toward the love of God flowing through you. He also wants to encourage and empower you to endure through the hard times. Let Him lead you where I need you to follow - trust him. (2The 3:5)
  • Mercy(14)

  • It is not enough to have kindly thoughts towards someone in need, to feel compassion for their situation and not to express it in a practical way. If you have the opportunity to do something about it, then do it. Remember that you are a part of a larger body, and you must take care of one another. Put yourself in their place and act as you would want someone else to act on your behalf. (Phi 4:10)
  • Our Father's love for His children is like the love of a mother for her unborn child. That love has nothing to do with the child's behavior or appearance, two things which many people believe determine whether or not they will be loved. No, a mother loves her unborn child simply because it belongs to her, it lives inside of her and is forever tied to her. So is our Father's love for those who are His, who have His Spirit living in them. How can you respond to our Father's love today? (Psa 103:13)
  • I have bought you back from the enemy, who held you prisoner due to your sin debt. I redeemed you with my blood so you could be with the Father and I forever, starting the moment you accepted our gift of salvation. Even when you don't live for us as you should, we pour out love and compassion on you without measure, reminding you that you belong to us, and were bought with a great price. Take time today to remember my sacrifice and revel in our love for you. (Psa 103:4)
  • MY PRIVATE MESSAGES ONLY(0)

    Obedience(406)

  • If you want to stand out as a light in the darkness, make sure that your life reflects that I am your highest priority. When other things and people are more important to you, it will show. Don't let anything become an idol in your life that replaces me as your top priority. What is threatening to become an idol to you? (1The 1:9)
  • In order to be a teacher of my word, you must know more than my actual sayings and teachings. You need to understand how a life is transformed by them because you have experienced such a transformation yourself. Beware of people who teach my word, but their life shows that they have not been personally transformed by the truth. (1Tim 1:7)
  • It is rare when I find believers who honestly and truly look to the interests of others above their own interests. It is so hard to move beyond the human need to put your own needs before that of others. But that is why you need my Spirit in you to accomplish that. In your own flesh, it is futile to try and put others first, but with me, all things are possible. (Phi 2:21)
  • Patience(69)

  • Search for me with all of your energy. You will expend yourself on so many other things that are less deserving; why will you not expend yourself on my behalf in that way? Seek me until you have found me, because you will find me when you seek me with all of your heart. (2Tim 1:17)
  • You have learned many things, but knowing is not enough. I expect you to act on what you have learned, walking it out in faith. You have a high calling on your life to live in this world as I did, and I have been teaching you what you need to know. Now, express through your actions the truths that have been imparted to and implanted in you. (Phi 3:16)
  • You cannot love people in your own strength. My agape love is a spiritual love, and flesh is incapable of it. Your love will dwindle, and eventually you will lose patience and become cold toward others. So call upon my Spirit to continually re-fill you with the same love I have for the Father and for you. Then pour yourself out upon others without measure, and I will fill you over and over again. (Gal 4:15)
  • Peace(36)

  • I know it is easy to be tempted to revenge when someone else has wronged you, especially, if you know you were in the right. One of the greatest ways to apply your faith is to respond with a blessing. Moreover, be an example to others who may be with you in times of trouble so that they can glorify the Father in Heaven. Learn to trust me with all your heart, even in trouble. (Rom 12:19)
  • It is so easy to get annoyed and aggravated with your brothers and sisters, but you need to work hard to live in peace with each other. When you call someone else selfish, it just means they won't do what you want them to. It will take dying to yourself and your own desires and supposed rights in order to remain in peace with those around you. Who are you really struggling with today? (1The 5:13)
  • When you learn how to find your fulfillment and joy in me despite your external circumstances, you will enjoy endless peace. You never need to doubt that I will provide for whatever you need, especially the ability to continue in the midst of adversity. A lack of things will never affect you while your trust is placed firmly in my loving kindness, power, and faithfulness. What in your life is making you doubt my faithfulness? (Phi 4:12)
  • Power(85)

  • Our father rescued you from your sins, and then called you to live a life separated for and dedicated to him - but not because you earned it. Before time began, he predestined your specific purpose in his plan, and supernaturally empowers you to fulfill it by remaining in submission to me. (2Tim 1:9)
  • Are you feeling like you are going around in circles, working on the same lessons over and over again? That happens when you slowly slip from moment by moment communion with and trust in me to trying to figure out and power through everything going on in your life in your own puny strength. Return to me in faith, and everything will eventually fall into place according to my will and original plan. What area of your life has become futile? (Gal 3:4)
  • My grace, my divine empowerment in your life, enabled you to understand who I am and what I did for you. It also gave you the opportunity and ability to respond to me in faith. My saving power is available to anyone who asks me for it. Who in your life needs my salvation? Pray for them right now. (Tit 2:11)
  • Praise and Worship(30)

  • Rejoice in me! It is a choice you make every day. It is not a feeling, but an action that you take, a decision that you make, to find your joy in me and what I have done for you and for others. Speaking what you are grateful for is the place to start, because once you start rejoicing, you will become glad! (Phi 2:18)
(Psa 103:2)
  • When in a position of power, it is easy to fall into the trap of taking advantage of others. But I demand that you be fair and good, so that those who work under you see me in you, and praise their father in Heaven for you. (Col 4:1)
  • Prayer(55)

  • It is so easy to get distracted by things that don't go your way, but that leads to grumbling and complaining which does NOTHING to glorify our good Father. The rain falls on the just and the unjust alike, but only those who have entrusted themselves to the care of the Father can be sure that every obstacle and hindrance can be used to make you more like me. Choose praise and prayer over grumbling and complaining every time. (Phi 2:14)
  • My peace has nothing to do with your thought life. You cannot manufacture my peace through reasoning. It is a fruit of my spirit and grows naturally as you surrender to my will. The most powerful part of my peace is how it guards your mind from attacks from the enemy, like a battalion of guardian angels that surround and protect you. My peace is released in you when you praise me and pray in faith to me. (Phi 4:7)
  • I want to be able to send you to your coworkers in my kingdom to strengthen and encourage them in their faith. Speak my words over them, pray for them not only when you are far away from them, but in their presence as well. Remind them of my faithfulness. Who can you pray for right now? (1The 3:2)
  • Pride(9)

  • Everything you have accomplished on your own is basically worthless in and to the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those things that are inspired by and carried through by my Spirit will last - everything else will pass away. Until you consider as loss everything you do apart from me, you will still wander away, expending your energy pointlessly. Make sure you are listening to and obeying my words only. (Phi 3:7)
  • Jonah could not stand the thought of me showing mercy to Israel's enemies, he wanted all of them to perish even though they were warned. I know the hurt your going through because of people in your past, I don't condone their actions, but I don't approve of your Judgements of them either. (Mat 5:44)
  • There are those who oppose and ridicule the truth of my word. Their minds are depraved, and they reject knowledge of me. But it is not long before they expose themselves for the foolish people they are. Let me deal with them, and do not try to change their mind. Stay far away from them. (2Tim 3:9)
  • Purpose(49)

  • You have learned many things, but knowing is not enough. I expect you to act on what you have learned, walking it out in faith. You have a high calling on your life to live in this world as I did, and I have been teaching you what you need to know. Now, express through your actions the truths that have been imparted to and implanted in you. (Phi 3:16)
  • Whenever I require you to speak, I will reveal what I want you to say. I want you to be open, if not eager, to share about what I have done in your life. I don't ask you to speak to everyone, just those to whom I direct you. (Col 4:4)
  • Stay in my word, so when others ask you about me, you will know how to answer them. If you don't know the answer, tell them you don't know, and then ask and study to find out. But you don't have to know everything to be a faithful witness for me. (Col 4:6)
  • Rejection(26)

  • The entire reason that I died for you is so you may live with me forever. At work or in play, awake or asleep, in life or in death, you and I are always together. When you feel alone, call out to me, pray to me, and I will answer you. Do you want to talk with me now? (1The 5:10)
  • When you remember all I have done for you, where I have brought you out from, and how much I love you, it should result in overflowing gratitude. You should also feel compassion for those who are now where you were before you met me. Be patient, kind, and merciful to them as I have been to you. (Col 3:12)
  • Through all of your earthly struggles, remember that a rest is coming for you when you will no longer have to deal with them. You will be with the father and I forever. Just think of the day I will come in the clouds from heaven with the angels to take you home with me. Until then, rest in me and I will bring you through everything myself. (2The 1:7)
  • Repentance(12)

  • Nothing you can do with your body can get you into heaven. Salvation from the penalty, power and presence of sin in your life comes only from repenting of your sins, acknowledging that I am the Son of God who paid for your sins with my sacrificial death, as well as surrendering your life and submitting your decisions to me as your Lord. Once you belong to me, "works" will automatically flow out of you by the power of my Spirit. (Gal 2:16)
  • Everyone wants to be loved and accepted, but it cannot be the focus of your life. The only approval you should strive for is mine. Everyone else's approval is fickle and temporary at best, loving and giving to you only when it best suits them. My approval is eternal, so love and serve me only, and let me bring to you the people who will love and accept you as I do. (Gal 1:10)
  • Those who have been entrapped by the devil cannot be stolen from his grasp by the force of your words or your will. It will take gentle instruction and sincere love for them. It is my kindness that leads them to repentance, and is their only hope of coming to their senses and escaping the trap of the enemy. (2Tim 2:26)
  • Righteousness(211)

  • Sometimes it is hard to know whether or not to help someone else. But remember my rule, if someone is unwilling to work they shall not eat. So do not rescue those who are unwilling, not unable, to take care of themselves out of laziness. You encourage their bad behavior by getting into it. (2The 3:10)
  • You strive so hard to be known and remembered in this world. However, once you are gone, you will likely be cherished only in the hearts of those you have loved and who have loved you. In the face of eternity, the only things that will count are what you did for me out of my agape love for others. Spend your life so loving me that you will naturally love others and draw them to me. Make an eternal difference by living in such a way that others want to give themselves to me. (Psa 103:15)
  • In the same way that my sheep hear my voice and follow me, I know everyone who belongs to me. I know their thoughts, their intentions, as well as their actions. Everyone who confesses my name must turn away from wickedness and follow me in purity. (2Tim 2:19)
  • Salvation(124)

  • No matter how much you have sinned, I always have more than enough mercy to match it. My patience is boundless, and by saving you, I have made you an example for anyone else who would come out of sin, believe in me, and receive eternal life. Testify today about what I have done in your life. (1Tim 1:16)
  • Never use flattery when trying to win someone to me. Always let the gospel stand on its own merits, knowing that the power of the Holy Spirit will convict and draw people. My words are a powerful, two edged sword that will divide between their thoughts and their intentions. It will reveal to them not only who they really are, but who I am as well. Who can you share with today? (1The 2:5)
  • Out of our Father's love for all of mankind, he sent me, his Son, to pay for the sins of everyone. But only those who believe that my death paid for their sins, and who repent of their sins (truly don't want to sin anymore) and surrender to me as Lord over their life, have that payment applied to their debt. This is the only true gospel, and should anyone tell you that you must do anything else in order to be saved, you must not believe it. (Gal 1:6)
  • Security(7)

  • I call you to come to me, listen to me, trust me and in faith, obey me. That is the covenant between you and I. You entrust yourself and everything that is important to you unto my care, and I, in turn, provide for and protect you. I have everything you need for life and godliness, but it is up to you to stay filled with my Spirit and close to me so you can access all of the gifts I so long to give you. What in your life is pulling you away from me? (Psa 103:18)
  • Our father is a God of kept promises. He is faithful to fulfill his word to those who believe him. His inheritance for his children is every spiritual blessing he has to give, as well as his provision and his protection. You can't earn an inheritance - it rightfully belongs to the offspring. In the same way, you can't earn all he wants to give to you by obeying the law, it is yours simply because you belong to him. Rest in his promises today. (Gal 3:18)
  • When you came to me in faith, you were no longer held accountable to the tyrannical rules of the law. By my indwelling Spirit you are led, moment by moment, according to my instruction about what to do in every situation. So do not go back to trying to figure out what is right and wrong on your own. Instead, show that you love me with all your heart, soul, mind and strength, and show that you love those around you as you want me to love you. (Gal 4:12)
  • Servanthood(26)

  • I keep an account of how you utilize the goods and finances I have entrusted to your care. When you use it wisely and according to my will, I will increase my favor in your life. Your stewardship of all that I entrust to you shows that you acknowledge Me as the source of everything you have gained. In the measure that you give to others as I direct, you will receive from me. (Phi 4:17)
(Gal 4:12)
  • Do not be enslaved to anything of this world or of the enemy; only be a voluntary slave to me. Everything you do outside my will is wasted effort, for it does not further the plan of our Father. Kingdom purposes alone produce the works that will last throughout eternity. Listen to and obey my Spirit, and He will guide you into ways to make an everlasting difference in this world. (Rom 6:18)
  • Sin(193)

  • Our father rescued you from your sins, and then called you to live a life separated for and dedicated to him - but not because you earned it. Before time began, he predestined your specific purpose in his plan, and supernaturally empowers you to fulfill it by remaining in submission to me. (2Tim 1:9)
  • The more you understand about me and my kingdom, the more hope you will have where others may experience despair. Death for non-believers leads to inconsolable grief. Death for believers is a momentary separation that will end in reunion in the future. Who can you share that hope with today? (1The 4:13)
  • When you are distressed because of suffering and persecution for my sake, remember your brothers and sisters who are in dire situations for the gospel. Be encouraged by how strongly they stand for me. Take their faith as an example, and become an imitator of them. Who can you pray for right now? (1The 3:7)
  • Strength(47)

  • Don't be unsettled by the trials you are facing. I have told you that those who believe in and belong to me are destined for struggles. But remember that I have overcome the world, so you can overcome it as well through Me. What struggle is the most pressing right now? (1The 3:3)
  • My People must bear the fruit of self-control. It is the key to overcoming the issues of the flesh. Being able to control your reactions to others, and not giving in to excess of food, drinks, or any other substance, and being free from the love of money is the sign that you are under the control of my Holy Spirit. In what area are you struggling with self-control? (1Tim 3:2)
(Gal 4:15)
  • Submission(30)

  • I can use all things, good and bad, to bring me glory. I can use the past of a person who did not believe, or who was cruel against believers, to accomplish my purpose. The transformation of a soul from angry and belligerent to loving and submissive is one of my greatest tools for bringing others to me. Do not give up hope for that one person for whom you keep praying. (Gal 1:23)
  • The curse of trying to live by the law is that you can never be successful. No human can perfectly live out every single law, so they are cursed to experience repeated failure if they try. But I have redeemed you from the curse of failure, from the futility of trying to be perfect before God through your own feeble abilities. I have freed you from religious legality and filled you with my Spirit, who is the only one who can empower you to live righteously through faith. Stop trying to be perfect and simply focus on continual communion with me. (Gal 3:13)
  • When you give to others as I direct, on my behalf, it is a sweet-smelling sacrifice to me. Your offering is pleasing to our father, who remembers your kindness and generosity to his other children. When you are in need, the memory of your faithful giving comes before him, and he will provide for your needs as well. How can you give to someone else in their need today? (Phi 4:18)
  • Suffering(60)

  • Remember those imprisoned for my sake. Pray for them that they will depend upon my supernatural power to sustain them, and not their own strength. Consider yourself their appointed guardian in prayer. (Col 4:18)
  • I see you loving others on behalf of me, and I urge you to love even more and more. It can be a difficult thing to love difficult people, but always remember how difficult you have been as well. Are you making excuses for why you can't love them instead of simply giving of yourself for them as I would? (1The 4:10)
  • There will be times when you feel as though everyone has deserted you, and no one came to support you in your time of need. But I command you not to hold this against them. Every person has their own path that they must walk, and although their paths may cross yours for a season, few will remain on the road with you. Let them and the hurt go. (2Tim 4:16)
  • Temptation(84)

  • Those who live for their own pleasures live in the darkness. They do things that would be shameful to be seen in the light. But you belong to the light, so your actions must always reflect my life, my truth, my way. What area in your life are you struggling with today? (1The 5:7)
  • Stand firm and hold fast to the teachings I have shared with you, whether through the scriptures in the Bible, or the whispering of the Holy Spirit directly to you. Life in this world can become so confusing, because everyone has an opinion and something to say. But you must always place my word above every other conversation, and compare everything to my truth. (2The 2:15)
  • Be assured of this, that if you have decided to die to your own desires and rights in order to follow me, you will be filled with my eternal life. If you endure struggles for my name's sake, you will reign with me. If you struggle with your faith, I will still remain faithful to you, because you are a permanent part of me. The one thing you cannot do is not take me as Lord, because then you will have no part with Me. (2Tim 2:11)
  • Thanksgiving(27)

  • Loving anything more than me makes you an idolator. People are tempted to love themselves, money, reputations and material possessions. They believe the lie that they have obtained these things for themselves, instead of thankfully acknowledging me as their provider. Protect yourself from this trap, and protect your love for me above all other things. (2Tim 3:2)
  • I have always sought to please our father and confess him before the world. Imitate me in this way, living as I did while walking on the earth. As a child mimics his parent or older sibling, mimic my dedication to our father, my continual communication with and praise for him. In what areas of your life do you need to act more like me? (1Tim 6:13)
  • You always have a choice - you can listen to the evil reports of the world and the enemy, or believe the good report of the Father. Open gratitude for all that He has done for you makes you stand out as a blameless and pure Child of God among a godless, warped and crooked generation. Today, SHINE for me, live your life so obviously for me that everyone will see your good works and praise your Father in heaven. (Phi 2:15)
  • Unity(2)

  • Discord in the body of Christ can undermine what I want to accomplish. If you know that there are members who have problems with each other, and those issues will affect the unity of the body, then leadership needs to address those issues. You are all called to the ministry of reconciliation, which includes bringing people together on account of the Gospel. They don't need to agree on everything, only agree to set aside their differences in order to serve me better. (Phi 4:3)
(Phi 4:2)
  • Victory(49)

  • When I come back for you, you will no longer be hampered by your flaws and failures, because you will be transformed into my likeness. You will share in my glory, my characteristics and traits. Eagerly look forward to that day, but live through me now. (Col 3:4)
  • Do not be surprised when you face persecution. I told you beforehand that if they persecuted me that they will persecute you also. But be encouraged, have no fear, for I am with you always. Tell me what I can do to help you live for me today. (1The 3:4)
  • I am the express image of our invisible father, and he has placed me over all the earth, and all creation. He gave me that authority as his first born, but you have been adopted as his child as well, and also inherit this authority. (Col 1:15)
  • Wisdom(71)

  • I have created some people to be prophets, and those entrusted with that gift should always be listening for my voice. And those who receive a word from a prophet need to test the message to see if it comes to pass. Hold on to whatever good comes of it, and let the rest go. If I speak to you, will you be willing to speak it to others? (1The 5:21)
  • The more you understand about me and my kingdom, the more hope you will have where others may experience despair. Death for non-believers leads to inconsolable grief. Death for believers is a momentary separation that will end in reunion in the future. Who can you share that hope with today? (1The 4:13)
  • There will always be many people who are rebellious against my truth. They are full of meaningless talk which helps no one, and even speak outright deception. The worst of these are those who claim that you must obey their rules and regulations in order to hear me, instead of simply listening to my spirit and obeying. Have nothing to do with these people. (Tit 1:10)
  • Witnessing(85)

  • It is imperative as a witness to me that you be holy, righteous and blameless. No one can be perfect in this world, but you must commit yourself to living up to the high standard of the high calling to which I have called you. Don't settle for just getting by; don't be satisfied until you are like me. In what area do you want me to help you first? (1The 2:10)
  • I have appointed you as my personal messenger to tell others about me. Your changed life is a miraculous sign to others proving that what you say is true. Teach them what you know and don't worry about what you don't yet know. Just bring them one step closer to me - I will do the rest. (2Tim 1:11)
  • How you treat the people in authority over you reflects back on me and my name. This especially goes for your employers, because if they are unsaved, your conduct can draw them to me or repel them away from me. If they are saved, then you should serve them even better as a fellow believer. Take great care to watch your conduct, for others are always watching you. (1Tim 6:1)
  • Worry(37)

(Psa 91:4)
  • Always remember that God is good. Even though the enemy wants you to believe that God doesn't care, or you've done things that warrant Him allowing bad things to happen to you, our Father wants good things for you. He is the good, good Father that wants good things for His child. (Jer 29:11)
